the sound of sirens filled my ears as the police arrived at my house. they barged into the door
"where is he??" one yelled
luke stood from the couch and put his hands up.
as they took him out the door, i glanced at him. he shook his head at me in tears, terrified. "how could you do this to me annie" he screamed.
i felt terrible. i mean who wouldn't? i just have to remember what he did to me and brennan. all this. all this over one guy. it's seriously just dumb to be honest. i hugged brennan, who kept me company for awhile until my parents came home. we told them everything that happened. they were shocked. brennan walked home, and i sat up in my room and cried. from my bedroom, i could see into brennan's. when i looked, i saw brennan pacing around his room and yelling at himself. i didn't know what i could do to help, or what was wrong in the first place. probably everything that just happened.
*ding*
i picked up my phone to see i received a text from brennan.
b: annie im sorry this is all my fault
a: sorry for what?
b: you were so upset, and if i didn't get into it, none of this would have ever happened
a: trust me, i'm okay. just shocked. none of this is your fault.
b: are you sure you're okay?
a: positive
b: 💗
a: 😘😘
