Faith POV: "So what exactly is this Fall festival thing we are going to?" I asked Tim. "Well, the church puts it on every year around this time as sort of a fundraiser. There's a bunch of food, games, crafts. All that good stuff. It's nothing big, but it's pretty fun." "It sounds fun." "It is." He said. A few minutes later we pulled into the downtown area. All up and down mainstreet there were little booths and stands. "Stay right there for just a sec." Tim said right after he cut the engine. "Um, ok?" I was confused. I watched him as he got out of the car, went around to my door, and opened it. "Well aren't you sweet!" "I try." He said with a wink. We walked around and looked at a few of the stands until we came across one with a group of little kids selling these yarn bracelets. "Hey uncle Tim!" A little girl about 7 or 8 years old said. "Hey sweetie!" Tim picked her and and hugged her. "Hey, I want you to meet someone. This is Faith, and Faith this is my niece Sarah." Tim said. Sarah was adroable and you could really tell she loved her uncle. "Hi! Did you make these bracelets yourself?" I asked. She shook her head yes. "Well they are really cool! Can I buy one?" Sarah's face lit up. "Yes! Which one?" She asked. "Hm, which one do you think I should get?" She looked around for a second then picked up a purple and blue one. "This one, it's my favorite colors." "Looks great! I'll take it." I said. "Hey uncle Tim, I made this one for you. It's LSU colors." "Thanks baby doll, I love it!" He said. Sarah smiled from ear to ear. Tim took out a 5 dollar bill and handed it to her. "Here, this is for mine and Faith's bracelets, and keep the change." He said. We stayed around the bracelet stand for a while talking to all of the kids. I could tell that Tim really loved being around them. He was so good with kids! Just the way he played and joked with them and the way they all looked up to him was so cool to see. This made him so much more attractive in my eyes.
