Tim POV: I looked over at Faith sitting in the passenger seat. She was being really quiet and I could tell she was nervous. I reached over and grabbed her hand then she looked up at me and smiled. "Don't be nervous honey." "I'm trying, but I don't exactlly have the best track record with meeting parents." "What do you mean?" "Rick's parents practically hated me up until the day he died." She said. "Now how could anyone hate you?" "Believe it or not, it's possible." She said with a laugh. "Why didn't they like you?" "When I met Rick, he was in medical school and basically once he started dating me he flunked out of school and decided to get a job at the local saw mill. His parents blamed him flunking out on me." "Well, you don't have anything to worry about. I don't plan on going to medical school anytime soon." I laughed. Faith PoV: We pulled into Tim's mom's driveway and went up to her door. Tim rang the doorbell and his mom answered it. "Hey mama." He said as he hugged her. "Hey son, and the pretty young lady over here must be Faith. It's nice to finally meet you sweetie, my names Betty." She hugged me. "It's nice to meet you too." I said. Betty invites us in. "I see you've been keeping my son well fed." She said with a laugh as she pat Tims stomach. "Yes ma'am, she has. Faith's a real good cook." Tim said. "I'm sure I'm not as great a cook as you though. Tim brags about your cooking all the time!" I said to Betty. We all sat aroud the dinner table and got to know eachother. I don't know why I was so nervous for this! It was so much fun getting to hear all of these old stories about Tim and Betty even showed me some baby pictures of Tim. It was a fun night!
