Faith POV: I heard something fall, so I went to my bedroom where Tim was. "What happend?" I said, noticing the mess on the floor. I saw that Tim had some newspaper clippings in his hand from the accident that I was in. "Uh Faith...I need to talk to you." He had a serious look on his face. "Um, ok...What is it?" "I think we should go sit down." "Tim, you're really scaring me. What's wrong?" "Please, lets just go sit down." He said. We walked to the kitchen table and sat down. "There's something I need to tell you and I know it's going to upset you." My heart was beating so fast. I wanted to know what he was going to say next, but at the same time I was so scared to know what was about to come out of his mouth. "Back a while ago, I went out to a bar with an old friend of mine named Jack who was visiting from Mississippi. He got really drunk and I tried to take his keys from him so he wouldn't drive. We ended up getting into a fight and he drove off..." "What does this have to do with anything?" I interupted. "I'm getting there...As he was getting into his car I had the chance to call the police. The station was just a little ways down the road and they could have stopped him before he got to far. But then my foolish pride got in the way and I decided to just let him go. He was in a car wreck that night." What in the world did this story have anything to do with me? I searched my brain for answers, but I couldn't figure out why he would think this would upset me. I watched as Tim took a deep breath. His eyes were all red like he was about to cry. "Faith, Jack was driving a bright blue oldsmobile that night." "Ok?" I said still confused. Then Tim handed me the newspaper picture of the accident. I took one look at it, and that's when all of the pieces fell together.
