Tim POV: After Gale left I continued to sit on the front steps and think about things. My mind began to flash back to the last conversation Bill and I had before her died. I promised him that no matter what, I wouldn't let Faith slip through my fingers. I couldn't break that promise to Bill! Maybe I should go try to at least talk to Faith. It might be a lost cause, but I guess it's worth a try. I reached into my pocket and pulled out my key. Then I got in my car and started to pull out of my driveway. When I looked in the rearview mirror I saw a pair of headlights driving towards me. It took me all of two seconds to realize that it was Faith. I turned the car off and jumped out. Just as I did that Faith, barely giving her truck enough time to come to a full stop, got out and ran to me. She didn't say a word she just wrapped her arms around me as tight as she could. I was so confused. As far as I knew, she hated me! "I'm so sorry...I'm so so sorry." She kept saying over and over again. She loosened her grip a little and I grabbed her face softly with my hands and looked right into her eyes. "I'm sorry too." I said. "You have nothing to be sorry for." "Yes I do. It's all my fault. Everything with Rick and the accident. It's all because of me." "No Tim! It's not! I know I said that before, but I didn't mean it. It's not your fault." She said. Without another word I pulled her in for a kiss. As soon as our lips touched I felt a drop of rain hit my hand. Within a few seconds it was pouring down. However, the rain didn't stop us from kissing. In fact, as the rain came down it was like it was washing all of our problems away. When we finally pulled away from each other we were both soaking wet. Out of the corner of my eye I saw something sparkling on the ground right beside Faith. I realized that it was the ring, so I bent down to pick it up. "What is that?" Faith asked. "Faith I...I pictured asking you this so much differently. But now seems like the best time." "Ask me what?" I dropped to one knee and her face lit up. "Faith, I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you..." "Yes!!" She said before I could even finish asking her. "You will?" I asked to be sure. "Yes! Of course yes!"
