Tim POV: Faith and I walked around and talked for a while. Being around her was so comfortable. I was so scared this date was gonna be awkward, but it was far from it. In the center of Main Street there was a little stage set up where a karaoke contest was going on. "You should go join in on that contest, you're really good!" Faith said. "Hm, I will on one condition." "What it is?" "You do it with me?" I said. She rolled her eyes. "Eh, I don't know, I'm not that great at singing." "Come on, you can't be any worse than me!" She laughed a little. "Pretty please!" I begged. "Alright, I will. But I'm telling you, I'm not that great." She said. I smiled and grabbed her hand and we went up to the stage. "What are we going to sing?" Faith asked. I quickly scanned my brains for a good duet song. "Do you know Islands In The Stream by Kenny and Dolly?" "Of course!" "Then let's do that." I said as I handed her a mic. As soon as she opened her mouth to sing I was mezmorized. And she said she wasn't that great, psh! She is an amazing singer! We finished our song and the whole crowd was on there feet cheering. We took a quick bow then walked off stage. As soon as we sat foot on the ground rain started to pour down. It was light at first, but then it really started to pour down. It wasn't long before the wind started to pick up and lightning lit up the sky. Faith and I ran back to my car. "I think this is the start of that tropical storm I've been hearing about." She said. "I believe so...Listen, I can take you home but I'm kind of afraid this storm might get worse. I don't want to pressure you or nothing but my house is just down the road if you wanted to go there and wait for the storm to let up." "That sounds good, I don't want you to risk driving too far in this mess." She said. At her words I started up the car and headed to the house.
