Gale POV: I heard some commotion coming from Faith's house. I knew she was moving in with Tim today, but whatever I was hearing sounded more like a fight. I got up and went across the street. Just as I walked out of my front door I saw Tim leaving in his car and Faith slamming her front door. I ran up to the door and knocked on it. "I told you to go away!" She said when she opened it. I guess she didn't realize that it was me not Tim. "Faith what happened?" She had black streaks of makeup running down her face from where she had been crying so much. "Oh honey! What happened? Can I come in?" I said. She shook her head yes. We sat down at her kitchen table and she told me everything. "Sweetie, I don't blame you for being upset, but I don't think you should take it out on Tim. He didn't know what his actions would lead to that night." "Oh great! So now you're taking his side?" "I'm not taking anyones side. I'm just saying that I'm sure if he knew what was going to happen that night, he would have stopped his friend from driving." "Yeah, but he didn't. And now my husband and child are dead. It would have been so easy for him to just pick up his phone and call the police, but he didn't. What would you have done in that situation." She asked me. I thought about it for a second. "I would have called the police...But that's beside the point" "What is your point then Gale?" She said in an angry tone. "My point is that you shouldn't take this out on Tim. It's not his fault what happened." She paused for a second and stared down at her hands. "You know what, I should've known coming here would be a mistake. I just need to leave and go back to Mississippi." She said. We fought back and forth for a good hour on why I thought she should stay here and try to make things right with Tim, but she wouldn't listen to me. Once we got tired of fighting I got up and left to go find Tim. Maybe he can talk some since into Faith.
