*A YEAR LATER*
Tim POV: I sat across the table from Jes. Her lawyer was beside her and mine was beside me. "Before we do this, can I just have a minute with you alone Jes?" I asked. She sighed and asked the lawyers to leave the room. Once they were out I got up and walked over to the window. "Are you completely sure you want to do this?" I asked. "If I wasn't sure then I wouldn't have hired this expensive lawyer." She said sarcasticaly. "So we're just gonna though all that we had away? You don't even want to try and give our relationship another chance?" There was a long silence that seemed to last forever. "Tim, you and I both know that we will never work out. We're just too different. We want different things, and we want different lives. Neither of us are happy together. Maybe we were happy at one point, but all of that is gone now. So the answer is no. I don't want to give it another shot. I don't want you or I to waste our time and energy on a cause that was doomed from the start." She said. "Well, then I guess there's nothing I can do to change you're mind." I said. Then I went to the door and called the lawyers back in. They explained the paper work and the terms of the divorce one more time then we both signed our names. Our marriage was now officialy over. But to be honest, it was over a long time ago.
