Chapter 36

Today is the first day I have Rio by myself. She keeps shouting for her mummy. It both upsets me and pleases me when she shouts of her. It upsets me because she doesn't want me, but it pleases me because she wants her mum.. she's going to grow up without a mum! I'm never getting remarried or with anyone ever again. Tash was and still is the one! It's been 3 days since the funeral and I still can feel the presents of her. I can still remember the sweet sounds of her voice. I wish that our last conversation ended differently! I don't think Caitlin is taking it very well.
Caitlin: hello Michael. Can I come sit in Tasha's bedroom for a bit please?
Michael: sure thing
She is just sitting there. She's been there for 30 minuets now, I keep offering her things such as food, drinks, company but she doesn't want anything. She keeps looking at all of Tasha's pictures that she's got. She has a box full of me and her, Caitlin and her and then a box of 5sos her and Caitlin. Then she has some pictures of her and Rio that are so beautiful it's unreal. My mum really isn't taking it well either, she is so so so upset about it, so is Caitlin's mum! The boys keep ringing and asking me if I'm going okay and asking if I need anything. I just tell them what they want to hear.
"You okay Cait?" I asked as I peered my head round the door.
"Yeah, I-I'm fine" she replied wiping tears from her eyes.
"What you doing?" I asked sitting down onto the bed next to her.
"Just looking at these. Did you know she had all these?" She replied holding the photos up and showing me them
"Yeah, I've been looking through them since she.. you know.. went" I replied quieting my tone a little.
"She was really a character wasn't she." Caitlin smiled
"Yeah she was amazing" I replied
"She was so beau-" Caitlin said but getting cut off from Rio crying.
"I'll see you in a bit yeh? I'll put kettle on" I said walking down-stairs.
I went down-stairs and cuddled with Rio "MUMMYYYYY" she cried.
"KETTLES ON CAITLIN" I shouted upstairs.
"OKAY" she shouted down "BE DOWN IN A SEC" she added.
Rio was still crying and shouting for Tash. I had to tell her that mummy wasn't here at the minuet which broke my heart. Caitlin came down, had a cup of tea, had a cuddle with Rio then left to go and see Luke. I put Rio into bed, got Tasha's pictures and put her favourite songs on and chilled in the living room.
