Chapter 38

"Mr Luke Hemmings?" He shouted out
"Here." Luke said raising his arm really high in the air. He got up and dashed towards the doctor, we all rushed after him, hoping for good news.
"Would you like to go in and see her?" He asked.
"Of course we do!!" He shouted in excitement. We walked through and she looked the same as she did the first time we went in. Her hands were cold and she was still very pale.
"Cait, we can't loose you. We've already lost Tash, please hold on. Stay strong! We can't loose you too! You're our bestfriend and Luke's girlfriend. We need you Caitlin. We need you to wake up." I said holding her ice-cold hand, her hand was pale, with her nails painted a dark bluey/purpley colour. This colour was always Luke's favourite on her.
"Looking at you just lying here, motionless breaks my heart. I feel so helpless and I hate it, I hate knowing that you might not wake up, I hate knowing there's nothing I can do about it and I hate thinking our recent I love you's could be our last. Caitlin you mean so much to me I can't even explain it, ever since I met you I have been happier than I have ever been. Since knowing you I've learnt what love really is and I've learnt that you're the one I want to spend the rest of my life, having children and just being happy. Since knowing you I've learnt that my life has a purpose and I'm not just the worthless band member everyone thinks I am. You saved me in ways no one else could. Caitlin I-I love you so god damn much and you're one person who I can't and won't lose. Giving you up would be like not breathing. Impossible. You're my everything and I'm so thankful that I met you. Please don't leave me... Please" Luke cried holding her hand sweetly then running his hands through her soft brown hair. He kissed her pale pink lips sweetly then stepped away, for anyone else who wanted to speak to her.
"Cait, you were our bestfriend! We can't loose you. It hurts to see you just laying there, without speaking a single word. You and Tash were like Ant and Dec. You both were our sunshine when the clouds were grey. You were not only bestfriends but sisters by heart. We know its hard to live without her. But it would be impossible to live without both of you. Please wake up sleeping beauty." Kacey and ellie said, taking it in turns to say things. When they had finished they both kissed her on her forehead and sat down on the blue uncomfortable plastic chair.
"We didn't know you long, but we knew you long enough to see the real Caitlin, the one underneath the mask of happiness. And we took that real Caitlin and cheered her up. It hurts, it really does. But we need you to stay strong and keep fighting for us. You're like our sister Cait. Wake up... please" Ashton and Calum said, softly touching her hand. They kissed her hand and then sat down next to Kacey and Ellie. "Could you wait outside please" Luke lead the way out of the room and we sat back down in the waiting room. The clock was ticking, it seemed to be going slower though. I turned to face luke, and he was starting to cry.
"Don't worry buddy, everything is going to be okay" I said as I put my hand on his shoulder giving him a little cuddle.
"But she is laid there doing nothing, saying nothing, just laid there." He said wiping the tears but they wouldn't stop rolling down. About 3 hours later the same doctor came over once again, with the same sour face as he did before and said-
