Chapter 44

Luke's POV
Why. How. Now I know how Michael feels. It's shit to have someone you love millions, leave you like that. I know there's a 50/50 chance of her living, but the pain is unreal. It's like getting a puppy, bonding with it, loving it, and then it going away. My heart has been ripped out and torn into a million pieces. The waiting in the waiting room for the second time is worse than the first. Everyone has come again to support me. Rio is the cutest little baby in the world. A doctor, different from the first time, came over to us with a concerned look and said "luke?" I jumped up out of my seat and ran over to him, Michael joined me. "Did you know Caitlin was pregnant?!" He asked. My heart started beating out of my chest and I could feel my heart in the pit of my stomach.
"Pregnant?" I asked
"Yeah, she is at least 2 months into pregnancy." He followed. "Were trying everything we can possibly do. You are able to all go in a see her now if you would like" he said gesturing down to her room.
"Thankyou" I said nodding my head to him.
"Can I speak to her first?" Kacey asked.
"Sure, sure" I said nodding my head and smiling.
"Cait, I say this from me and Ellie when I say, you are so so beautiful! You was an amazing bestfriend to me, Ellie, Tash, Michael, Luke, Ashton and Calum. Please don't leave us. I love you beautiful." She said, holding her hand and starting to cry.
"I agree" Ellie, Ash and Calum said crying too.
"Caitlin, you are such a good friend. You always have, and you always will be. If you go, you'll be with Tash. We'll all be very sad, but we'll be alright. Because even if you do go, you'll still be here in our hearts. But please don't go. We need you here. We love you lots Cait." Michael said, starting to cry and stroking her shoulder.
"Babe, I mean, you know how much it hurts to be in this situation, but the pain is unbearable. My baby girl isn't able to speak to me. And it hurts. I need you to stay with me Caitlin. I need you. Stay Caitlin. Please. I love you" I said, as I broke down into tears at her shoulder. Then as we went to sit back in the waiting room, the clock annoyingly ticked.
Caitlin's POV
I got up out of my seat from watching them all speak to me. I felt them as they touched my hand and my shoulder. It's unexplainable amounts of upset to see that and not want to wake up, not because of the people, because of the world and the fact that my bestfriend since I was little has died. I walked out of my room and walked down the corridor and went to the waiting room. I saw them all crying. Then I heard some footsteps from behind me. It was Tash, she came across and saw us all. "Tashhhhh!" I exclaimed as I hugged her tightly.
"Cait? You need to decide weather you stay, or leave. If you stay, you can still see me, because you're ready now. Kacey, Ellie, Luke, Ashton and Calum are too. Michael is still hurting. I'm going to see you all though. I think it's going to make you all stronger." She said hugging me back "are you staying or going?" She asked, starting to cry.
"You promise me I'll see you?" I said to her, making her pinky promise me and I started breaking down and crying.
"I promise" she said. We both had a cry and a hug before returning back to my room. "are you ready Cait?" She asked
"I'm ready." I said returning back to my body. After that all I could here was 'beep. Beep. Beep' continuously. Then some doctors rushed into the room and took all of the tubes and things off me then sat me up in the bed. Luke and the squad came in to see me. Everyone was in floods of tears. After we all said hiya to each other and kisses and cuddles, Tash came along to. Michael was the first to notice and the first to break down into even more. Tash said hello, gave us all hugs and kisses, even Rio, then said bye and left. I had to stay in the hospital that night, it was very boring. But Tash left me a little note ' Caitlin, Thankyou for staying with them, you've shown me that you're all strong enough to see me now, I love you gorgeous. P.S I would've spoken to you but you was asleep and I didn't want to wake you. I love you millions beautiful
