Part 19

Blaire's POV

I wake up coughing sneezing and keel like I have been hit by a truck, this is not what I need right now I try to move but end up whimpering a little and realize I am shivering yet feel boiling. I notice Demi is gone and I check my phone and see she has sent me a message

"See you soon snug had to run out and organize a few things" it says I make my way out of bed I can't let this stop me I need to practice for the show. I have a steaming hot shower to see if that helps any which it doesn't I get dressed and drag myself to the main house the first Person I see is Jensen

"Hey little B how you feeling' she ask I give a weak smile which hurts

"I feel ok" I say wincing as my throat feels like sandpaper I go and grab a small yoghurt I have to meet Demi again in an hour so I slowly eat the yoghurt listening to the conversations around me I feel like crap I hurt so much, I shouldn't have sat in the rain yesterday. I can feel a coughing fit about to start so I walk outside I don't want people to worry about me I grab a bottle of tap water and realize it is time to head off for another vocal lesson. When n I get back I might see if I can find some pain relief if not I might go and buy some I need to try and knock this on the head before the live show this week. I pull up to the building as another round of coughs attack me leaving a disgusting taste in my mouth. I find Demi standing waiting for me I walk to her and she gives me a hug

"You doing ok baby girl" she ask looing me in the eye I feel like she can read my every thought and that scares me

"immm better now thanks Demi" I say my voice is all crackly and I wince from the pain as I talk and I see worry come over Demi's face as she raises her hand causing me to flinch she gives me a second before she places her hand on my forehead

"babe your burning up, are you feeling ok" she ask I give a nod and a wave nausea wash over me causing me to sit down and place my head in my hands until it passes I feel Demi sit beside me and rub my back

"Tell me the truth Blaire what hurts" she says I look up and she is dead serious

"I don't feel so great but it will be ok I need to practice" I says trying to hide the fact I am in agony. I'm not ready to go home and I need to fight and practice.

"Baby what hurts" she ask begging and I can't stop myself I feel like I can't lie around her

"I hurt all over, my throat is burning my chest is tight my head is pounding" I says she nods and helps me up putting her arm around me

"Come on baby girl lets go chat with the Medic" she says leading me out and to another room she starts speaking to this guy I'm assuming is the medic

"Ok Blaire I'm going to check your temp, ears throat and listen to your chest ok" he says I give a small nod I was trying to avoid this he checks my temp

"Wow honey 39.9 your temp is incredibly high, you will need a cool shower or bath to get that down also try cold cloths. Now open your mouth ill check your throat" he says I nod then open my mouth and he checks my throat then follows with ears then listen to my chest

"Ok looks like you have tonsillitis as well as an ear and chest infection" he says I sit there looking at him that doesn't sound good at all,

"I will prescribe you vocal rest, bed rest and these antibiotics, take 3 times a day with food and take Panadol every four hours to help with the pain and fever. Demi I assume you will also have some tricks up your sleeve to assist with fighting these infections. Also I am going to give you a Ventolin puffer to take before the show to help open you airways a bit." He says I just nod and go to say thank you but there stop me, right vocal rest.
