Part 25

I wake up the next morning slowly blinking, I laugh a little how Maddie and Dallas are snoring and laying I hear the door open and I see Blaire and parker walking back inside looks like they have been out for a work out I really hope Blaire didn't push herself to hard as she is still getting over been sick, neither of them look to happy but I can tell Parker is trying, I guess things didn't quiet go to plan and Blaire didn't talk about what happened that would explain the sad distant look on her face and the worried look on Parkers. The both see I'm awake and both give a small smile

"Happy thanksgiving" Parker says smiling bigger making me smile back at him and I hop up giving him a hug and a kiss before turning to Blaire and giving her hug which she tenses at but returns none the less

"I'm going to take a shower" she says trying to make her voice sound normal

"I'll walk up with you I need to grab some stuff from my room" I say following her upstairs maybe I can get her to tell me what is going on we get upstairs and she goes to her suit case put I take her hand and lead her to the bed she does react just follows

"talk to me snug" I say and she doesn't respond after a bit just gives a shrug and runs her hand through her hair.

"are you nervous about today with all those people and a lot of food?" I ask I see something flash across her face I think that is part of the issue but not quiet,

"what was that bad dream about last night" I ask and she pales, ok now I have hit it on the head I wait and rub her back a little

"iii uhhh, umm... please don't make me talk about it" she basically begs and I pull her onto my lap cradling her trying to make her know she is safe and loved

"it is better to talk about it snug, you don't have to take all the weight on your shoulders" I say and she starts playing with my necklace I used to do this with mum when I was younger and upset needing comfort and a way to keep myself from getting swallowed by my thoughts feeling the necklace going along the chain.

"everyone got upset about me not eating and you all started yelling about been wasteful and uhh they were there uh here, you all ssstarted hitting me and telling me that I'm worthless and ssstuff like that, I know it wasn't real but it felt so real" she says her voice keeps breaking making my heart break, it always breaks when we have these moments, sometimes I forget that she is so broken and I am becoming so scared that I can't help her keep it all together.

"baby never ever will we get angry if you don't eat, we may get a little upset because we care about you so much and hate seeing you hurting so badly, and those arse holes will never lay a hand on you again I promise have and will remain to be one of the most protected people ever you know between this family, Simon and Parker no one will hurt you that is something you can rely on and no of us will hurt you. I have already sat you next to me and Parker at dinner and Maddie and Dallas will be across from you if anyone makes you feel uncomfortable tell me I won't be far and I'm sure Parker won't be leaving your side not knowing anyone and I'm guessing Simon will be with you guys, we have you covered baby" I say as we continue to rock she hugs me tighter and nods her head against me

'sorry for been rude last night" she says I just rub her arm

"ok why don't you have a shower then come down and help us start cooking and preparing" I say she tenses a little but nods, this is always a hard time preparing all the food but I do it because that is something we have always done as a family the first year out of rehab was hard I ended up in my room crying and shaking like crazy maybe this isn't a good idea with Blaire.

"did you get much sleep last night?" I ask her she shakes her head no

"ok babe have a shower then come down for a bite to eat ok?" I say she nods but stays with me for a few more minutes and I don't rush her she clearly is after some comfort from me and I am willing to give her that I feel her get a little restless so I kiss the top of her head before she gets up.
