Part 43

Demi's POV

Today is Friday and Blaire is getting released today I am stressing out Blaire hasn't had much rehearsal time out of a hospital bed. I'm currently lying in bed waiting for Parker to come over so we can go and pick Blaire up, we have lots to do today. That kids' strength still baffles me and her kind heart had taught me so much. The way she has used her money to buy Avery an iPad, the way she sings to the kids as often as she can even sneaking of a couple of times this week to sing with them. The love and care she shows Avery as well. Also, I am grateful for Sabrina who seems to have knack of making Blaire laugh and smile they get along so well. Something about Sabrina just makes Blaire so content and happy and I can't help but appreciate her so much more. I let my mind start to wander back to the date that Parker took me on, he is so amazing. No one has even made me feel so treasured, so beautiful, so lucky. He took me to a rooftop where he organized a picnic with my favorite food, he got the recipes from my mum. We talked for hours about everything and nothing, he held me when I got cold and gave me his jacket. Never in my life have a felt so relaxed around someone.

There is a knock t my door and I say come in and see Parker standing there in all his gorgeousness smiling at me when he sees me still in bed.

"hey sleeping beauty" he says coming over lying next to me wrapping me up and placing his lips on the top of my head making me smile and snuggle into his chest.

"morning hansom" I say stretching a little and he leans back looking at my face.

"fuck your beautiful" he says making my heart burst with happiness. And I lean in and kiss him before we go back to cuddling.

"you need to get ready love, we need to go get Blaire, unless you wanted to wait here?" he says his voice so deep and perfect.

"I'm coming, give me 20" I says kissing him quickly before I jump out of bed grabbing the clothes, I set out last night and go to the bath room to have a quick shower and throw on some make up. I can't wait to get Blaire from the hospital. I know she has been struggling there a bit. She hates that she isn't in a secure environment.

We get to the room Blaire is in at the hospital the nurses stop us and mention that Blaire has had still is having a rough morning with this we rush to her room but find that someone is already comforting her. Blaire is laying with her head on the pillow but tucked into Sabrina's side and Sabrina is singing safe and sound stroking her hair. I can see that Blaire is shaking Sabrina notices us and gives us a small smile but continues to sing. Sabrina's voice is so versatile and beautiful. Once she finishes, she quietly mentions that Blaire is asleep making us smile and little and walk over to Sabrina. I give her the best hug that I can

"I fell asleep here last night watching a movie and she woke up a couple times throughout the night I guess she has bad dreams or something, then this morning she was screaming and crying it's taken a bit to calm her down. She wouldn't say what happened though" she explains quietly and she continues to hold and run her hair gently through Blairs hair.

"thanks for been her Sab" I say to her and I watch as Parker is next to Blaire and is carefully holding her hand. I'm surprised it has taken this long for the nightmares to hit her while been in hospital. She hates been in the hospital she doesn't feel safe. So, I was expecting to come in some mornings to her been fried and terrified.

We let Blaire sleep a little but we need to go and rehearse Parker goes to sign discharge papers and Sabrina goes outside leaving me to wake the sleeping teen.

"baby girl you need to wake up we can get out of here" I say shaking her a little and move her hair behind her ear. She slowly wakes up looking confused and rubs her eyes i plop myself next to her and she rest against my chest as I run my fingers through her hair.
