We get back and restart the mentoring sessions we had to change Marlissa's and Justines songs the songs they wanted to sing just wouldn't have worked for their voices they sounded terrible and they were not happy about having to change but I'm just doing what I can for them. The next session is Carrie she sings her song she does well not the best I have seen today and there are a few things we change but nothing to drastic we sit a chat for a bit she kind of makes it all about herself etc. she hardly lets us talk her time is up an she walks out. A few minutes later Blaire walks in with her guitar I smile a little I love her guitar it is unique. Apparently I'm not the only one Camilla exclaims quiet loudly that she loves the guitar the others agree. Just by looking at her you can tell how nervous she is she is the first one I have seen today who is nervous.
"SO what song are you going to sing today Blaire" I ask her trying to be professional yet friendly I want her to feel at ease she has no reason to be nervous because she is crazy good
""Uhh An acoustic version of Please don't say you love me by Gabrielle Aplin" " She says with a small shy smile aww she is so cute I remember that I still have to have a chat with her about her head I won't ask about the scar though I don't think she will want to talk about it maybe later I will ask another day. She starts strumming the guitar and bam opens her mouth and the most beautiful sound comes out. Her voice is so powerful, so beautiful, and so adaptable I would love to keep working with her. I am so proud of her once she finishes the 5th harmony girls have their mouths hanging open I guess they weren't expecting that at all they have spent some time with her and know that she is shy and not overly confident so when she opens her mouth to sing it is definitely a shock.
"That was, holy hell you voice is so powerful and beautiful and god you so talented." I tell her, telling her the complete truth
"How do you do that, like wow your voice you're like so little and cute and quiet then like wow" Lauren says that is so funny, they are all still shocked.
"Demi this girl is a winner, don't change anything at all Blaire, it's cute how shy you are, don't let them change her to much Demi." Ally says this causes a big smile from Blaire and it seems to reach her eyes I think this is the first time I have seen her smile where her eyes light up
Blair's POV
I am sitting on the chair outside the music room waiting for my mentor session I decide I am going to play guitar why I sing it seems to make me feel a bit more comfortable, my leg is shaking a bit from the nerves the door opens and Carrie walks out looking proud of herself.
"Don't choke, actually I hope you do" she says as she walks past
You're not good enough you are horrible, you only got this far because they need a good laugh the voices in my head say I dig my nails into my palm to try and control myself.
"your turn Blaire" one of the camera guys say I pick up my guitar and walk in all the girls are sitting on a red couch I stand in front of them.
"Oh my god your guitar" Camilla yells I smile a little I love my guitar and the reactions it gets they all say how cool it is
"So what song are you going to sing Blaire?" Demi ask me.
"An acoustic version of Please don't say you love me by" I tell them with a small shy smile. They nod and I start strumming, the sound already making me feel a bit more confidents and calm.
I finish the song and the girls from 5th Harmony they have their mouths hanging open and Demi looks proud of me,
