Demi Has Dynamite

Part 35

 I wake up the next morning and yesterday feels like a blur but I need to carry on with everything. I need to stop worrying about it. I feel Demi move next to me, before going back to sleep I feel rather well rested and I didn't have any bad dreams last night like I was expecting to. I get up and get changed before going for a run, I want to go to the gym and do some weights I take a couple of deep breaths and walk in this time I don't plug music in I need to be on alert. I do some weight training and pushups before some combos on the bag, it all hurts because of the fall yesterday but I push through it. That all take about 1.5 hours and I head back to my room to shower and change before everyone starts arriving. Demi is awake and on her phone

"hey snug I was about to come and look for you I was getting worried" she says coming over she is about to give me a hug but realizes I'm all sweaty and stops making me laugh a little.

"I'm going to have a shower" I say grabbing some clothes and heading to the bathroom

"Blaire, you will need to clean the cuts/burns" Demi says and I wince a little but nod realizing I may need help with the couple on my back. I let out a frustrated sigh

"if you're not too busy would you be able to help with the ones on my back" I ask her not turning back to look at her

"of course, snug" she says and I walk into the bath room and go about my shower, when I get out I look in the mirror and cringe at the sight my torso hardly has a piece of unmarked skin weather it cuts, burns or bruises. I stop the memories, my body always used to look like this before I ran a way. I clean all of them with the disinfectant and betadine most of them are scabbing over already and I can tell some will scar. I get dressed in black skinny jeans, a black button up shirt which I put on backwards covering as much as I can before getting Demi to clean the ones on my back I open the door and she comes in, I feel worried that she will see the scars and question them, she has seen them before I know but I try to hide them as much as possible, I hate them a lot I give demi a smile in the mirror as if to say everything is ok and I'm fine after yesterday, something I need others to believe so I can believe it, I don't want people fussing over me.

"there you go snug all done, you are one brave kid you don't even flinch when the disinfectant went on' she says and I laugh a little which she seems to understand and gives me a sad smile

"its fine now don't worry" I say wanting that look done, she looks like someone just kicked her puppy dog. I fix my shirt and do up the buttons and grab a pair of my worn-out jogger shoes, I really need to get a new pair soon, they a slightly to small now and my toe is not far from breaking through the end I let out a slight sigh, I'll see if Parker will be allowed to take me shops so I can get some new ones I don't think Demi will have time.

"Demi do you think we can get some extra permission on maybe Thursday night so I can go and buy new joggers?" I ask her as I put them on

'yea should be good, if not we can see if one of the older girls are going to the shop today and you can join them, I heard Jensen, Louise and rose talking before that they want to do a shopping trip when they get back" she says I nod a little thinking that may actually be fun and since Jensen knows of my situation she should be able to help me with excuses why I'm not spending much if the others ask.

"I should ask if I can join" I say but it comes out more as a question

"I think you should, it will be fun, they are great people" she says and I nod.

I head down to breaky and Demi goes to get ready for the day we aren't doing much today our coaches will tell us what song we are singing but we won't state session until tomorrow. I get to the kitchen and am surprised to see a couple of people milling around. I see Jensen and rose once the spot me the both run up to me making me tense up waiting for impact Rose gets to me first and wraps me in a tight hug making me flinch with pain and she releases me giving me a concerned look before she can question it Jensen hugs me tightly again causing me to flinch in pain. She releases me and I am greeted by two very concerned looks.
