Their hands intwined
Fit perfectly
As they gazed into each others eyes
Drinking in one another.
They looked beautiful together
To the world, they were in love
Every action of theirs, proved it
Every movement together, asserted it.
Deep within
They didn’t even know each other
It was, but a face put up for the world
A front that portrayed their infatuation.
Deep within
She hated him
His ego, his arrogance, his anger
That’s how she summed him up
Deep within
He was truly in love with her
Her beauty, her personality, her soul
That’s how he summed her up.
Blind to their own feelings
But true to the world
They played their roles impeccably,
As one heart rejoiced everyday they parted
As one heart broke everyday they parted…
