It’s like a flip of a coin
Stable at first
And then with the flick of time
Everything goes upside down
Nothing matters
The news sinks in
Deepening the hole in the heart
Life momentarily becomes unstable
The suffering prolongs
The pain robbing you of your senses
Chaos within you while the world outside is peaceful
You want to scream,
But a whimper is all that escapes your mouth
The coin now spiraling back down
Suspended in space
Is caught, stable
Your eyes gleaming with hope takes a peak
The coin but a piece of metal can tell nothing about life.
