The shadow treatment is what happens when I'm either too lazy to draw something or I don't want to draw something because I think I'll fail miserably at it(in some chapter before, I shadowed out most of a face, which is an example). So basically I gave up on Sammy's left side, and decided to draw him in the shadows. It failed anyway, but meh.
