-Chapter 14-
My phone kept on buzzing over and over again which had caused me to be awakened. I reach for it under my pillow and swipe the screen unlocking it and my eyes went wide to see twenty-five missed calls and ten text messages all from the same unknown number.
I clicked the read button to read the messages to which made me frown. All text messages were of the same of content.
‘First day of school sleepy-heads, Get up now! – Troy’
Troy? How did he get my number?
I get off my bed, arranged it then head towards the bathroom for my morning routine. Getting of the bathroom, I threw the towel on the hamper and grabbed a new one on the drawer. I dried my hair and plugged in the hair blower. I made my way over to the drawer and picked up something to wear.
I chose to wear a black tight jean, a white tee-blouse and black stripped cardigan. I reach for my wrist band that hangs freely on the hanger-clip near the mirror. I slid my hand through my black back pack and reached for my converse shoe with my free hand.
‘ALL DONE!’
I whispered to myself as I took a last glance of myself over the mirror. I kind’ a use to handle this ‘boyish’ look of mine since I’ve change my fashion. Maybe this whole ‘moving-on’ will give me a better result, something that I would never imagine. I slid my hands to each strands of my hair before heading out the bathroom, just in time when I heard my phone buzz.
I swipe the screen to see the same number texted me. TROY!
‘Still in bed? Get down here sleepy heads; I’m waiting in the living room! – Troy’
What??? And with that, I hurried my steps down to the living room to find Grand Ma sited with Troy, COMFORTABLY!
“What are you doing here?” , I ask sarcastically.
“Oh dear, enough of the sarcasm be polite.” , Grand Ma interlude then turned back to face the pouting TROY, “And besides, I was the one who ask him to come. He can give you a ride to Cassel’s high since he also studies there.”
“But Grand Ma?”
“No buts dear!” , and with that I know I can no longer argue with her. She already made her decision without my consent and that’s final.
“Come over here and have your breakfast!” , letting a frustrated sigh, I walk pass Grand Ma and sit next to her taking a plate of my pan cake and a cup of my hot chocolate.
It took only about five minutes before we reached Cassel’s high. As usual we rode Troy’s pedal-bike and he let me sit in that foamy pad, and wrapped my hands around his waist again. I really would like to protest but I also want to be safe.
When we reached the school my eyes take a look at every corner of the school. I never thought it would have this much population.
