Rochè's POV

"Princess Rochè, it's time for breakfast," I heard Maria's gentle voice say through the door and I placed my diamond earrings into my ears. Wondering who I am? Well if you don't know you clearly haven't been reading the newspaper that's being delivered freely to your doorstep. No, but seriously, read the newspaper because the government wants to take the free newspaper away and I don't want that.

Oh sorry I'm getting off track. I am Rochè Harmony Karsten, Princess of Europe. Yes you read that right I am a princess. They say it's all a girl wants, but honestly it's not as good as it looks. You have so much responsibilities and you always have to be perfect. I don't even remember when I last wore sweat pants.

I sighed before I stood up and walked through the big hall and towards the eating area, my heels were making noise as I walked trough the silent halls and down the stairs, holding my head up high.

"Morning, Father," I said as I walked into the dining room and my father kissed my head. "Morning, honey. Have you slept well?" he asked and I nodded.

"Yes thank you. Where is Mother?" "She's in the kitchen helping the maids. You know your mother, she likes to help around," my father said and I nodded. "What about Rico?" I asked as I moved sit down and the butler moved my chair out for me before I sat down and he moved away and another butler did the same for my father as he sat down at the head of the table.

"Morning, Father. Morning, Rochè," Rico, my brother, said as he sat down next to me and my father greeted him. "Morning, Rico. Sleep well?" I asked as I placed the napkin on my lap and he chuckled. Rico is twenty years old. He's a year younger than me. "You know me, sis. I always sleep like a baby," he said and I nodded. "That's true. The castle would be on fire and you'll die in the flames," my father said before he took a sip of his coffee and I giggled softly. "I'm not even going to try and protest, it's true," Rico said and chuckled as he placed the napkin on his lap.

"Good morning everyone," my mother said as she walked into the dining room with a dazzling smile on her face and her dress hugging her fit body. She doesn't look 47, that's for sure.

"Good morning, Mother," Rico and I said at the same time causing us to chuckle. "Did you guys sleep well?" she asked as she sat down and we nodded before the maids walked in with the food and gave us each a plate. They walked out of the room and another maid brought us each a fancy glass filled with fruit juice. "Honestly I had trouble sleeping, Mother," I said and my father looked at me with a rose eyebrow.

"Is everything alright? Should we call our house doctor and ask him to take a look?" he asked concerned and I chuckled. "That won't be necessary, Father. Just had a bad night," I said and he nodded before we took each other's hands to say grace.
