Roché Harmony Karsten.
A name that makes people stand upright and immediately pay attention.
Roché is the princess of Europe. It seems crazy, but it's true. With her 21st birthday around the corner, the princess is in search for someone who will s...
It was a couple of days after Ross and I rode around with the horses and I couldn't stop thinking about it. He looked amazing on a horse. Oh Lord I sound like a school girl. "Is something on your mind? You seem distracted," Rico said as we walked through the gardens with Shades walking behind us. "I'm just thinking, you know? Nothing's wrong I'm just thinking," I shrugged and saw him look at me from the corner of my eye. "Who is he?" Rico suddenly asked and I looked at him confused. "What do you mean?" I asked confused. "I know how your mind works, Rochè. What's his name?" he asked again. "How do you know it's a guy?" I asked with a small blush. "Well I don't think it's a girl. And you have this love sick puppy look on your face," he said and I looked at him, shocked. "I do not!" I defended myself and he laughed. "Yes you do. Isn't that right Shades?" Rico asked and we turned around to look at him. "In all respect, Princess you have seemed to be in the clouds lately," Shades said and I blushed. "I told you!" Rico laughed and I blushed. "Oh pipe down. I'm not a love sick puppy," I said and both of them chuckled as we started walking again.

"Honey why do you look so happy?" my Mother asked as we were eating lunch and I blushed. "Just been sleeping well," I said as I saw Rico smirking at me from across the table on the balcony. "Well I'm glad honey. Have you given any thought about the marriage thing?" Mother asked. "I have actually. I think I have someone, but I don't know if he feels the same," I shrugged. "Well that's good. Maybe you should just talk to him. Or we could have a dinner and you can invite him," Mother suggested and I quickly looked at her. "NO! I mean I think I should talk to him first. I don't even know if he wants this," I shrugged. "Wait he is royal, right?" Mother asked cautiously and I sighed. "Yes, Mother. He is royal, but he's not a normal royal. He's simple," I shrugged and blushed wildly as Rico awed. "Rico pipe down. At least she's trying to get a husband and not playing video games," Mother said and Rico's face fell before I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Rochè could I speak to you?" I heard as I walked past Father's study and I quickly turned around and walked inside. "Gentleman if you could give us a minute," Father requested the guards as I sat down and they exited the room before closing the door. "Your Mother told me that you have someone in mind to marry," Father said looking at me surprised and I blushed. "I don't know, maybe. I don't even know if he likes me, Father. Give me another week to see if there's something there, alright?" I asked and he nodded. "That's fine. Is it one of the Lynches?" Father asked and I blushed. "Oh I see," he mumbled with a small smile. "I'm off to bed. Goodnight, Father," I said before standing up and he said it back before I walked out of the study and into my room.

Ross's POV
"Prince Ross, someone has requested to see you," one of the maids said and I stood up from the desk in the study before walking to the castle doors after thanking her. I was surprised when I saw Rochè standing there, her eyes skimming over our castle. "Rochè. What a surprise," I smiled at her and her eyes snapped to me. "I'm sorry to just drop by unannounced," she apologised and I shook my head. "No it's fine. To what do I owe this pleasure?" I asked and she blushed lightly. "I have something to discuss with you," she said and just then my Father walked into the room, looking at Rochè surprised. "Princess Rochè. To what do we owe the pleasure?" Father asked as he gently grabbed her hand and kissed it. "I'm just here to discuss something with your son," she said before glancing at me and my Father followed her gaze. "Oh. I see. Well the garden is a lovely place to discuss things," he said with a small smirk.
"Thank you, Father. I'll take her to the garden," I said and he nodded before greeting her and he scurried away. "It isn't necessary. I just want to ask you something," she said and I smiled at her. "I got to see your castle. Let me show you ours," I said, holding out an arm for her and she wrapped her hand around it before I led her through the castle and to the back to the garden. "Your castle is beautiful," she smiled at me. "Thank you, Rochè. So is yours," I said before she went back to admiring the garden.
"You said there was something you wanted to ask me," I said as we sat down on a bench near the pond and she let out a beautiful breathy laugh. "Well I've never done this before so go easy on me," she said and I looked at her curiously. "Is everything alright, Rochè?" I asked with a small smile because I found her nervousness cute. "Yes everything's alright, but there's this ball Saturday evening. My parents are organising it. The invitations are being send out today. I was wondering if you would mind being my accompany?" she asked shyly and I looked at her shocked. "You want me to go with you?" I asked her softly and she smiled at me. "Of course I do. You're an amazing guy, Ross. And if I'm on someone's arm then I won't have to dance with the bachelors. And trust me they can't dance. My toes were extremely sore when you walked up to me," she said and I laughed. "So you're only using me for your own benefit?" I teased her and she giggled. "Maybe. You'll never know," she shrugged and I laughed. "I would love going with you, Rochè,"
