Ross's POV

We both walked out of her room and she led me down the stairs, outside and to the horse stables. The whole time there was a guy with black clothes and black glasses following us around. "Who's he?" I asked her softly and she chuckled. "Shades you can leave us. I'll be fine," Rochè said as she turned around and he nodded. "Of course, princess," he said before mumbling something into the speaker on his shoulder and he walked away. "He's my security guard. Or he's everyone's security guard. We call him Shades. But my personal security guard is Joe. He's been my guard since I was born and he's our head of security," she said and I nodded my head. "Isn't it tough to grow up like this? I mean you guys are more known than Queen Elizabeth. You're constantly in the public eye," I said. "I got use to it. And we run Europe so it gets tough, but I can't do anything about it. If I refuse the throne the Trumps take over and I won't allow that," she shrugged and I nodded.

A/N: Didn't mean anything by the Trump thing, but I couldn't think of another name.

As we got to the horses she looked at me. "You can choose any one you want, but the white one's mine," she stated with a small grin and I nodded. I walked over to the beautiful black horse and softly ran my hand over his mouth. She opened one of the doors and walked out with a beautiful white horse. "The saddles are over here. Are you going with thunder?" she asked and I looked at her confused. "The black horse," she explained and I nodded my head. "Yeah. What's her name?" I asked motioning to the white horse she had. "Melody," she smiled as she petted the horse.

We both put our saddles on the horses and walked them outside. I carefully climb on Thunder, trying not to startle him, and saw Rochè climbing on Melody. "Where are we going?" I asked her as the horses slowly started walking and I followed Rochè, riding next to her. "There's this amazing view I have to show you. It's not that a long ride, but we're gonna have to stop and let the horses drink. There's a river on the way there," she explained and I nodded as we slowly walked away from the castle, in the back direction.

The castle was beautiful. Or the castle grounds were. There was trees everywhere, but not to much. There wasn't anything fancy about the path, but I'm guessing the horses walk here. After a couple of minutes Rochè stopped and I saw a small, narrow river in front of us. "Let's rest a minute and let the horses drink," she said as she climbed off the horse and I followed her movements before leading the horses to the water where they began drinking and we sat down on the long grass.
