"What time is the ball this evening?" I asked my parents as we sat around the dinner table on Friday morning.

My name is Ross Shor Lynch, a prince in Europe, but I'm not a 'head' prince. What I mean by that is, my family is still royal, but we don't run the country. The castle across from us is the head royal family. They own and run the whole country.

"It starts at 18 hundred hours. I want you all on your best behavior. One of you three could be the next King of Europe. Don't mess this up for yourselves," my dad said sternly as he looked at me and two of my three brothers, Rocky and Ryland.

"What I don't understand is why Riker is not going to take part in trying to steal the princess's heart," Rocky spoke up and Riker smirked at him from across the table. "It would not be a fair fight then brother," he said and Rocky smirked at him. "Because Riker is already in a happy relationship. I mentioned that to James, the king, and he told me that his daughter is not the kind of woman to break up someone's relationship. So you three will try and steal the princess's heart," Dad said before taking a bite of his eggs.

"I'm going to win," I said confidently and Ryland looked at me. "What makes you think that I won't win?" he asked and I sent him a teasing smile. "Because, brother, you are still a fetus and Rocky's hair is too long," I said and we all laughed. "Don't talk bad about my hair," Rocky said in a diva tone while holding a spoon towards me and everyone chuckled. "That is another reason," I said and he smirked at me.

"Luckily I'm not being forced to marry anyone," Rydel spoke up from across me and I smirked at her. "That's because you are already married, sister," I said and looked at Ellington who sat next to her. He sent me a smile, which I returned, before I continued with my breakfast.

"Father how will everything work now? You said the first boy to marry will be King of our family if you passed on, but what if one of us happens to marry the princess?" I asked Father and he finished chewing.

"That rule still stands. Let's say Ryland marries princess Rochè. He will be King of the country, but not of this family. If Riker marries the fair princess Savannah next then he will be king of this family," Father explained and princess Savannah, who was sitting next to Riker, smiled at my father.

"Well thank you, Mark," she said and everyone chuckled before I turned to Father again. "What did Father say her name was?" I asked. "Princess Rochè," he said and I looked at my plate in thought.

"Rochè," I mumbled. "That's a beautiful name,"

Rochè's POV

"Princess Rochè, your tailor is here," a maid announced as I was standing on the balcony, looking at the garden and I smiled at her. "Thank you, Darcy. Please send him up to my room," I said and she nodded before I walked to my room. I have absolutely no idea where Mother is. She has been running around like a chicken whose head got cut off all morning. I made my way into my room and patiently waited for Raphael.
