|| But It Stinks ||

"I told you we should've brought my car." Chelsea tells Liam as she gets out of the truck.

"It's brand new!" He says as he walks to the back.

"Yea, to somebody about 20 years ago." She says with a smile.

"I hate you."

"You love me."

"I do."

She grabs her phone.

"Show them to me again. Please." He says as he stops messing with the truck.

Chelsea walks over to Liam, doing as he says. Her red eyes glow in the night, the symbol of an alpha.

"I still can't get over the fact that you're a true alpha." Liam says as he grabs her hand.

"I'm not used to it. The second I became an alpha I felt a rush of power." She smiles before kissing his cheek.

"Its funny considering you had to die first." He says with a smirk.

"I hate you for saying that."

"It's true! But seriously, how did you feel a rush of power?"

"It was when everyone came up to me and hugged me. I felt it again when I was with you. It was like Scott when we thought Derek died at the beginning of freshman year. He didn't heal until the pack was together again."

"That's interesting."

"You might want to get back to fixing your truck."

Liam laughs before walking over to the back of the vehicle, but stops.

"No lift." He says when he looks at Chelsea.

Chelsea lifts up the car.

"Get the spare."

Liam disappears, but comes back empty handed.

"No spare"

"God, you are so unprepared." Chelsea says as she puts the car back down.

"I know."

"But I don't care. We're alone. Let's use it wisely."

The two begin to lean in, but stop as they see a car rolling down the street before it comes to a stop. The windshield is broken and one of the doors are ripped off.

"What the hell?" Chelsea asks.

"I don't kn- HEY!"

A kid jumps out of the back and Chelsea grabs his arm.

"What happened? Are you ok?" She asks.

"Don't let them take me. Please don't let them take me." The frightened kid says over and over again.

"What's your name?"

He doesn't answer, instead he stares off in the direction the car came from.

"Call my dad. " Chelsea whispers.

"What? why?"

"Because we don't know what happened to this kid! This is a crime scene. The door was torn off, the windows shattered by bullets. It-"

"You can get all of that from the look of a car?"

"The perks of growing up with Stiles as an older brother. I was never into this stuff but he kind of dragged me into it so I know what things look like."
