|| Just a Friendly Reminder ||

Slowly, I stand up. 

My ears are ringing. 

I gasp as I look at my arms, each one of them covered in burns just as bad as the ones from the rift. 

"I'm ok" I say, but I don't hear myself. 

I scream. 

Nothing. 

Their mouths are moving, but I don't know what they're saying. 

~Theo POV~

"Chelsea! What the hell?" Hayden shouts. 

"You could've killed yourself! Look at the burns!" Liam says.

She ignores them.. 

"Quit ignoring us."

"Guys" I say. 

"Not now Theo."

Chelsea screams, scaring the three of us. 

"Chelsea!" 

Her doing that makes me realize something. Based on her current state, it wouldn't surprise me if it was true. 

"Guys!" I shout. 

"What?" Hayden and Liam ask at the same time. 

"She can't hear." 

"How do you know?" 

"Her ear drums look busted. It'll take all night for them to heal, and it-"

"We are going to try again tomorrow!" Chelsea shouts. "I can't hear anything, but I'm fine!" 

"You're crazy!" Liam shouts. 

"Just a friendly reminder, she can't hear you."

~Chelsea POV~

They lead me inside, and I stand in the kitchen. 

Scott looks over and says something, but I can't tell what it is. 

The next thing I know, Malia is on top of Theo, punching him nonstop. 

Scott pulls her off and says something, but all I see is their mouths moving. 

They all look at me. 

Liam says something to them, and Scott nods before walking off and coming back with a whiteboard and a marker. 

He writes on it. 

Theo goes back. NOW

I shake my head. 

Why?

"He can help" I say. 

How?

"He remembers Stiles"

I remember Stiles, and so does Lydia and Malia.

"No you don't. You think you do but you really don't."

Malia grabs the board. 

I remember him.

"No you don't. What does he look like? What's the color of his eyes? His hair?"

They all stare at me.

"See, none of you know. If you actually remembered Stiles, you would know what he looks like."

"Can you hear me?" Theo asks, but it sounds like a whisper.

"Barely."

"Stiles has brown hair and brown eyes. He's got this mole on his face, right where one of his dimples are. He always wears the same flannel, and he's always the one to figure things out." He says. "He's also got this look in his eyes when he looks at you. All he wants to do is protect you, and he's scared he won't be able to. That one of these times, he'll be too late."
