Chapter 24: I need him, too
Seven stepped into the office building, making his way up to Jumin's office.
He couldn't help but blush as soon as he had reached the businessman's office.
I'm way too shameless...
Coming all the way to his office like that...
The redhead pushed open the door without knocking, too nervous to remember the courteous gesture.
"Yo, Jumin."
He greeted with a wink, sauntering his way over to the latter's desk.
Jumin smiled back at him.
"Hey."
The black-haired man stood up from his seat and went over to embrace Seven.
"Thanks for today's letter...
... it made me feel special, and happy."
He whispered, making the shorter boy flinch.
Seven nodded slowly.
"I was just writing my feelings out..."
The redhead replied, cheeks red with embarassment.
Jumin chuckled, pulling back from the hug gently and leading Seven over to his desk.
He patted his lap.
"Your usual seat from now on."
He joked, but the shorter boy still straddled him anyway.
Jumin felt heat rush to his cheeks.
I was trying to be smooth but it apparently backfired and now I'm the one embarassed.
Great.
He coughed a little, averting his eyes, and Seven laughed.
"Could it be that you didn't expect me to actually take a seat on your lap?"
The redhead grinned cheekily, fishing out a small plastic bag from behind him.
Jumin blinked.
"You got strawberries?"
He asked, and Seven nodded.
The taller man gave him a small smirk.
"Now you're really spoiled."
Jumin purred, his hands wandering onto the redhead's body and grasping the latter's waist.
Seven let out a small mewl, surprised by the man's sudden touch.
"I'm just bored at home when I don't have any work to do, man..."
The redhead sighed, looking away.
Jumin blinked.
"I see. So that's why you came to my office?"
He tilted his head to the side, and Seven nodded.
"I feel better here, anyway. I prefer your company over Vanderwood's."
The redhead snickered.
"Get it? Your company? 'Cause you own one?"
He laughed, and Jumin flicked his forehead.
"Honestly, you..."
The businessman shook his head, chuckling softly at the shorter boy's antics.
His grip tightened on Seven's waist, and the redhead flinched.
"Seven..."
He whispered, leaning up to give the shorter boy a kiss, when-
"Seven?!"
A familiar voice sounded from the entrance of Jumin's office, and both the redhead and the businessman turned their gazes to the door in horror.
Crap.
It's Zen.
Why's he even here?!
Seven looked back at Jumin in panic, and the taller boy quickly told him to calm down for a moment.
"... Zen. You could have knocked."
The black-haired man coughed nervously.
The white-haired boy standing in the doorway looked like he was about to have a heart attack.
"It doesn't matter! I walked in on- This!"
He gasped dramatically, and Seven couldn't help but roll his eyes.
The redhead shifted his body so that he now sat on Jumin's lap sideways.
"Anyway, what brings you here?"
The shorter boy asked, trying not to give any hint of panic or worry.
Zen huffed.
"Jumin did say that he wanted me to model for one of his cat projects, and that it would be okay if I posed separately and away from the cat."
He paused.
"Because it's possible to edit the pictures such that it looks like I'm posing with the cat."
The white-haired boy added, shifting into a new posture.
"So I'm here."
He finished off, now narrowing his eyes.
"Then, Seven, why are you here? You literally just seduced the business corporate heir in front of my poor eyes."
Zen pretended to sob, before flipping his long ponytail.
Seven let out a loud cough.
"Maybe I am seducing him."
He flashed a cheeky grin, tilting Jumin's chin with his finger.
"I hope you don't have a problem with it."
He blew a kiss in the businessman's direction, batting his eyelids - if anything - before turning back to the white-haired boy, who still stood in the doorway.
Zen shrugged.
"Normal men have eyes for pretty ladies, but you guys are on a different level."
He sighed, finally stepping into the room.
"Anyway, when's the photoshoot?"
He asked, and Jumin jolted.
"I've yet to schedule it. I'll do so by today and then message you the date and venue."
The black-haired man adjusted his tie, and Zen nodded.
"Alright, then. I'll be going. Thought I would stop by halfway since I have a shoot nearby, but it seems I'm interrupting something, so I'll be off."
He waved his hand, making his way to the door.
Seven shrugged.
"Yeah. Bye, Zen."
He blinked, turning back to Jumin.
Ah, man. Someone found out. What are we going to say now?
