Chapter 26 - Returned

I remember everything

Those words cling to their mind.

Ruki has finally obtained his memory back. 

The old Ruki that they knew have returned. 

The Ruki who always considered Janne important, precious and irreplaceable was back.

His brothers and Yui couldn't hide their shock. It took him too long for Ruki to returned.

"H-How, Ruki-kun?" Kou asked his oldest.

Ruki paused for a moment. "That time, I had a dream and I met Adam"

"Huh? Adam? That Adam?" Yuma asked. Ruki only nodded.

"He explained to me about King and Queen matter. He told me on how Janne, the Queen was disoriented to decided her King. He could tell I couldn't accept it. I didn't want anyone to be her King. When Karlheinz-sama and Kino told me that I can't become the King because I'm just a former-human vampire, I was depressed. And Adam gave me...an apple"

"Apple?" Azusa asked.

"He said it will be a determination of my relationship with Janne so I took it. I was still hesitated back then but after I met Kino again in the Eden, I decided to...eat it and suddenly my chest hurt and my head was spinning, the next thing I knew...I was unconscious"

"And you forgot about everything about Janne? Is that how it does?" Kou asked.

"...Yeah"

"And how you remembered everything again, Ruki-kun? Did you meet Adam-san again?" Yui asked.

"That's right. He helped regained my memories back and also... The truth about the King" He could see all of them went intense. "Adam told me, the King...is always had been chosen since the day he was born"

"Wh--What..?" Kou was surprised with the fact.

"When the King is ready, the Queen will be born afterwards. He also told me both of them will eventually fall in love even though they didn't realized it at first. Adam also knew Karlheinz-sama's plan. He intended to awakened the throne and believed his children will become the King, so he split his power to his children, but... He actually split it in to seven if his children was not the chosen King" Hearing his information, all of them suspected something. 

"Adam said...the apple that he gave to me, contained something which made me lose memories only about Janne and all the people that I knew after I came to know her" Ruki continued.

"Ruki... Don't tell me..." Yuma stopped his words. Ruki then looked at his second youngest.

"That's right, Yuma. The apple contained Karlheinz-sama's great power and I...I'm the chosen King" Ruki finally stated. All of them were surprised about it. They were always suspected Kino was the King because he obtained almost Janne's first time, particularly her blood. But then...

They came to learned that their oldest, was the King.

"Ruki-kun, you should tell that to Janne. You have to tell her everything" 

True, Ruki wanted to tell her. He wanted to find her. Stole her away from Kino and claimed her as his once again. But there were still things that he wanted to know.

"Can you tell me about what happened recently?" With his question, Kou explained everything. On how Ruki suddenly lose his memories about Janne, on how he unintentionally hurting Janne along the way, on how Janne lose her entire family and closing herself from anyone, on how Ruki came to rescue and helped her to reacted again but then he harmed her once again.
