Chapter 1 - Dirty Blood

Can you...--?

Can you hear me? Sakurazuka Janne...

An unknown voice calling her. 

"Nn..." Her eyes were sleepy as she was trying to ignored the voice she heard. 

Open your eyes, Sakurazuka Janne...

His calling finally made the young girl opened her sleepy eyes. She was lying down on a floor wearing a pure white dress. She sat up and looked around her. She had no idea where she was. Around her was dark. Janne then stood up and started to walk. While she was walking, she was looking around to find out where she was. And then...  Someone appeared right behind her. 

Queen...

"Who's there!?" She back away from the new figure. 

The man was having a long platinum white hair and a pair of golden eyes. He was rather tall and was wearing a black coat.

"You do not need to afraid of me, Sakurazuka Janne..." He told her.

"Eh? H--How do you know my name?"

"That doesn't matter. Please..." He turned away from her. "Follow me" He asked her and started to walk away. Janne was hesitated whether to followed him or not, but in the end-she followed him. To her, it's better to followed him rather than stayed there forever.

"Um, excuse me, you're--"

"I'm Karl Heinz" He stated his name.

"Karl Heinz-san... Um, where are we?" She asked. Karl Heinz was only looking at her and smiled coldly at her. When he finally stopped...

"Have a look" He pointed something in front of them. As Janne was looking, it was...a large Queen's piece from a chess. "Do you know what it is?"

"Um, well, a Queen's piece" Janne said it simply.

"Correct. Do you know what's missing?"

To Janne, his question was rather weird. But, in corner of her mind-there was something important in each of his question. He was like trying to give her a hint of what happened.

"Well, the rest of the pieces are gone"

"To you, what is the most important piece in the chess?" Again, he attacked with another question.

"I guess... The King?"

"Correct. Even though the Queen is the most powerful piece in the chess, she still needs the King. Every throne needs the King and Queen, no matter what. Do you know why the King was not there?" He asked but Janne only shook her head. "It is because the Queen have not decided her own King. The Queen is disoriented. Her heart maybe approved the King's existence, but the most important part of her still rejecting him" Again, he was explaining things which made Janne rather not understand about it.

"Um, that's rather unfortunate though" Janne said. Her statement causing Karl Heinz let out a small laugh, confusing her. "Eh? Did I said something weird?"

"My apologies. It seems you are still not understand that we are...talking about yourself" He stated. Janne could only looked at him. "It is the truth. Do you still remember on how the First Blood-Tsukinami, are always calling you 'Queen'? I'm talking about you. Your existence is very important and it is about time for you, to chose your own King" 

"W-Wait a minute! Why me? Why I become the Queen? I never asked for this! I just want...to be normal"

"It is your destiny"
