Adam's P.O.V

"Stand up! Stand up and fight you son of a bitch." Jax shouted, towering over me as I scrambled to my feet. I spat blood from my mouth and it pooled on the dusty ground at my feet. He advanced and I retreated, my breath hitching in my throat as I felt my back pressed against the chain-link fence. "You're cornered now." Jax cackled cracking his knuckles menacingly.

"They may be big but you're fast." Theo's voice echoed in my head. Time to make him angry. I smirked to myself.

"Oi, what you smiling at?" Jax asked giving my shoulders a shove.

"Just the thought of your brains, that is if you have any, splattered all over the floor." I anticipated his move and ducked, darting to my right. The fence clattered as the impact of Jax's punch made it shake. Jax stumbled forwards with the grace of a drunk gorilla and I laughed.

"Over here you twat." I stood with my arms out wide faking confidence. Jax snarled at me and took a swing, yet he missed, as once again I had danced out of the way. Unfortunately, my cockiness got the better of me. I had not seen 2 of Jax's allies approaching from behind. In seconds flat my arms were yanked behind my back by the first, the second holding my head up by my hair.

"You know what pretty boy, I ought to put a dent in that face of yours," Jax said pacing back and forth in front of me.

"Take your best shot." I goaded him with a laugh. Our fighting had now gained the notice of several bored guards who had been pacing around the yard. They were intrigued by what had caused the usual yard activities grind to a halt. I cast a gaze around and spotted Charlie and Jace stood over by a set of bleachers.

Both of us were covered in red patches with would soon for bruises and I was bleeding in several places. Jax had a bloody nose but little else. My fight with Jax had been a long time coming. Ever since my arrival Jax had me marked as his next target, but I had fought back. At first, it started small light shoving, a bit of name calling, but that had all built up and turned into this.

So here I stood held in the arms of one of Jax's men, the big brute himself pacing in front of me. My cut lip and slashed eyebrow both oozed blood. Battered and bruised I use my remaining strength to do what I had set out to do. As Jax launched his fist forwards I threw all of my weight to the right. The blow that was meant for me hit the guy holding me square in the forehead. The impact was enough to make him crumple, unconscious, to the ground. The sudden movement had caused the second guy to loosen the grip on me. This was enough for me to pull away from him, ball up a fist and plant a punch on his temple.

2 down 1 to go. I thought, turning on Jax who stood looking down at his to men.

"You'll pay for this." he hissed and we began to circle each other. The downing of two boys had sent a ripple of caution throughout the yard.

Jax swung first and I dodged, sending 3 of my own into his stomach. He doubled over and stumbled forwards coughing for breath. His rage seemed to boil over at this point as he let out an angry scream, sending a wild volley of punches towards me. I dodged and blocked but some of them hit their mark, the force of them enough to make me stumble. He was tiring fast, and one well-placed punch to the side of his head sent his sprawling out over the floor.

"Everyone on the ground." An angry voice shouted and every orange-clad figure hit the floor. I knew what was coming and therefore made not attempt to resist as Vince, the most unpleasant guard, clamped cuffs around my wrists. "You'll get a week in solitary for this Kent." He spat gleefully forcing me to my feet. He pushed me forwards and into a walk.

"It was worth it." I snarled, glaring at my fellow inmates as I passed. Once inside the main complex, I was lead down corridor after corridor Until we reached our stop at a door. Vince swiped his key card and with a buzz, it was unlocked allowing us inside. I lost count of the number of cells I passed when I was finally forced to a stop outside the one cell I was to call home for the next 7 days. Vince swiped the key card a second time and the cold gray door swung open. My cuffs were removed and I was forced inside with a strong shove. I spun on my heel in time to see the door sealing shut.

With a sigh, I turned once more taking in my new cell. One bare light hung from the ceiling illuminating, dimly, a single bed and a toilet with took up the majority of the cell. I sunk down onto the bed and It creaked under my weight.

I in no way regretted my actions I just hoped they had worked. If I got lucky, no one would dare give me trouble after today.
