It’s around lunch time and I have decided I should probably text Sophie. We haven’t talked in ages and I feel as though I’m losing one of my closet friends. Harry is busy today so I have nothing better to do.

To Sophie:

Hey Soph, I was wondering if you wanted to come around today?

It will be good to catch up with Sophie. I think I’m going to talk to her about our relationship. She has being ditching me to the max lately with Luke and it’s not okay. She’s supposed to be my best friend. She’s acting like a bitch in my eyes, so I just want to sort all of this out.

From Sophie:

Hey Mia, I’m not busy. Will be around in half an hour?

To Sophie:

Sounds great! See you then xx

I put my phone down on the dining table and walk over to the kitchen to make me a sandwich. I skipped breakfast this morning because I woke up late. I actually had the best sleep last night, I didn’t wake up till around 10.30am.

I grab the bread out of the pantry, then the ham and butter from the fridge. I start to make my sandwich but Zach walks into the kitchen. What does he want? I’m still not use to him living with us and I still don’t like it.

“You woke up late.” Zach comments as he starts to make himself a sandwich.

“So?” I hiss.

“Was just observing.” He says putting his hands up in surrender.

“Well could you not.” I bite back.

“Sorry.” He apologizes.

We continue to make our sandwiches in silence before I leave and pick up my phone off the dining table. I walk into the lounge room and sit on the couch, the TV is already on so I guess Zach was in here. I grab the remote quickly and change the channel over to Teen Mom 2.

“Hey I was watching that.” Zach says walking into the room, when he sees I changed the channel.

“Too bad.” I comment and smile. To me, he does not live here. So I get the rights to the remote.

“You’re lucky I like this show.” He smiles sitting near me on the couch.

“You like this show?” I almost spit out my sandwich.

He likes this show? He’s a boy, not a girl.

“Boys are allowed to like it too Mia.” He laughs at my reaction.

“I know they’re allowed, I just didn’t think they would.” I add.

“Well I do, I think it’s cool.” He comments.

Cool isn’t a word I would use to describe this show to be honest.

“Fair enough.” I add continuing to eat my sandwich.

Did we actually converse in a civil conversation? Not that I like fighting or anything, but I rather fight then actually have a nice conversation with him.

“My friends coming over in 10 minutes…” I start but stop myself. Where was I going with this? I guess I was just going to tell him to stay in his room or something.

“I will go upstairs, don’t worry about me.” He nicely states.

Why is he being so nice? I constantly have to remind myself not to believe a word he’s saying.

“Thanks.” I say politely. He is doing me a favour, so I probably should thank him.

“That’s alright.” He smiles.
