“Mia! Hurry up, William is waiting!” I hear mum yell up the staircase as I rush around my room grabbing my stuff.
I always take a while to get ready. But she’s the one who insisted on us going out for dinner, so she can wait.
“Coming!” I yell back as I grab my phone and head down the stairs.
“You look nice.” Zach compliments as I walk towards the front door where mum and Zach are waiting.
“Save it.” I say rolling my eyes. He’s compliments literally mean nothing to me.
“Mia enough.” Mum sighs.
I know she hates that I’m not cutting Zach any slack or being nice to him, but too bad.
We all walk outside to where William is parked in the driveway. He’s car isn’t that big so we are sort of squished up in the back. I’m making Harry sit in the middle so I don’t have to be so close to Zach.
“Hey baby.” Harry smirks jumping out of the car to open the door for me. Such a small gesture makes my heart flutter.
“Hey Harry.” I smile back sliding into the seat.
Harry rushes over to the other side and slides in before Zach does. He read my mind about him being in the middle. We all zip our seat belts up and William starts to drive.
“Nice too meet you Zach.” William exclaims from the front seat turning to face him.
“Eyes on the road honey” Mum says making William quickly turn around.
“Nice to meet you too sir. I have heard a lot about you.” Zach replies smiling.
No he hasn’t, mum hardly talks about him.
“Hopefully all good things.” William jokes.
“Of course.” Zach laughs along.
This cheery happy conversation is actually starting to annoy me. I just want to tell William everything he has done, so William won’t like him. We don’t need another person falling into his trap. But I will restrain myself for now.
“You look tense, are you alright baby?” Harry whispers over to me with a concerned look.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” I reply. I could be better, but I’m alright. For now at least. I don’t know how this dinner is going to go. I couldn’t even last a dinner with him the other night.
“It’s going to be okay.” Harry says placing his hand on my thigh.
“I’m your distraction remember?” He winks before his thumb draws patterns on my inner thigh.
“Shut up.” I laugh smacking his arm playfully.
“Ouch.” He dramatically says grabbing the ‘injured’ part of his arm. He pretends to wipe away a tear as well.
“Suck it up princess.” I laugh.
“I’m not a princess.” Harry says offended.
“You’re acting like one.”
“Ouch again.” Harry says covering his heart in sarcasm.
I laugh before turning away out the window. The cars pretty quiet, the only noises heard are Williams and Mums hums along with the song playing on the radio.
We roll up to the fancy Italian restaurant mum took me too a while back. It was lovely here, so I’m glad we came back. We all exit the car and make our way to the fancy doors that lead us into the restaurant.
