1 day to go till our holiday. Stupid me, left it until the last day to pack my bag.

“Mum did you wash my shorts?” I yell down the hallway.

“Yes they are folded up on the dining table.” Mum yells back.

I make my way down stairs to collect my shorts from the dining table. I have always liked to pack my bags, it gets me excited about the holiday about to come. The worst parts of holidays was when I had to unpack the bag. Even though I don’t go on many holidays, the ones I do I always slowly empty my bag. It was so much easier, I usually forget to unpack it anyway.

I made my way back upstairs to finish off packing. I went through a checklist in my head to make sure I had everything. Shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, underwear, toiletries, towels, Pyjamas and of course shoes. I also packed my black laced underwear just in case.  I always manage to over pack.

Mum talked to William yesterday about the rooms and he agreed to Harry and I staying in one together. Thank god. I think Harrys pretty excited as well, even though he won’t admit it. He’s so stubborn sometimes, but I love him. Speaking of Harry I haven’t talked to him since Friday night and its now Sunday. Oops, I wonder why he hasn’t called though. I collect my phone off my bedside table and dial his number.

“Harry?” I ask into the phone.

“Yeah, hey Mia.” Why not baby doll?

“What’s wrong?” I worry. Something’s up he’s being strange.

“Nothing, drop it.” Harry hisses.

“Oh, I um, I’m going to go then.” I say back. I cannot be bothered putting up with his shit.

“No Mia, look its nothing alright. What’s up? Why did you call?” Harry questions.

“Well we haven’t talked since Friday, I kind of miss you.”

“I miss you too baby.” Harry replies. Well it seems he’s in a better mood. He has serious mood swings some times.

“Are you excited for tomorrow?”

“Yeah I guess.” Harry blandly says.

“Don’t lie, I know you’re excited.” I laugh into the phone.

“Shut up.”

“I love you.”

“Love you too Mia.” Harry says softly. “I have to go, I haven’t packed yet.”

“I just finished.” I laugh. Of course he hasn’t packed yet.

“Alright, bye baby.”

“Bye Harry.” I smile.

It’s amazing how short our phone calls are, and they’re pretty boring half the time, but it’s nice just to talk to him. He makes me forget about everything. I’m completely zoned out when I’m talking to Harry.

I finished off packing my bag and went downstairs for dinner with mum. The day has gone so quickly today. Sophie was going to come over and hang for a while, but she had more important plans with Luke. Since when was it like her to ditch me for a guy. Whatever, I’m slowly getting used to it lately. What’s going to happen next year though when she wants to hang with Luke, I won’t have Harry or anyone else to go too. I don’t really want to think about it to be honest.

“Do you just want some pizza for dinner, I haven’t gone shopping because we are going away tomorrow.” Mum says grabbing the takeaway menus from the cupboard.

“Sure, I will just have a Hawaiian please.”

“Okay, so will I.” Mum smiles.

Mum calls the pizza place and orders a large Hawaiian pizza.
