It was 8am on a Sunday and I was awake. Why was I awake? Sundays mean sleep in, not early rise.

Sophie was still asleep, and the memories from last night roam through my brain. I still feel disgusting. He touched me without my consent and that will never be okay.  I don’t know how it will be seeing him at school anymore. I never want to look at him again! I wonder what Harrys thinking right now? He nearly killed him last night. Luckily Luke stopped him.

I feel like I should call Harry. To thank him about last night. For saving me, and Sophie.

Sophie, the memories of her being thrown onto the side gate flood my brain. She tried so hard to stop him but he was to strong. She was forced to sit there in pain and watch. I felt terrible that she got dragged into it.

Sophie tossed herself over to face the other side of my bedroom, still sound asleep. I took my phone off the charger and ran downstairs into the lounge room.

“Mia? Are you awake?” I heard mum call from the kitchen.

Crap, I didn’t know she was awake yet.

“Yeah mum!” I yell back.

I didn’t want to go in and talk to her yet because I know she will ask about last night.

“Do you want anything for breakfast” She calls.

“Toast will be fine please!” I call back.

I dial Harry’s number in my phone. I felt like I had to talk to him.

“Hello?” Harry whispers into the phone after 3 rings.

“Hey Harry” I mumbled.

“Mia, what’s up? Its 8’o clock in the morning” He states.

“Shit, I totally forgot”

“That’s alright, what’s wrong?” He murmurs.

“I just… I just wanted to thank you for last night.”

“What?” Harry mumbles.

“Thank me?” He asks.

“Yeah, you kind of saved me”

“You don’t have to thank me Mia, he should have never laid a hand on you!” His voice gets louder.

He sounds angry, but why? I hope not at me.

“Are you mad?” I blurt out.

“Not at you no. But at him yes! He’s lucky I didn’t kill him right there on the spot” Harry states.

“Okay… well that’s all I called for” I say.

“Maybe we could hang out today or something? I don’t really want you to be alone anyway” He asks.

“That sounds good” I smile.

Harry and I have never really hanged out for the day before and I was kind of excited.

“Well, I will be there at 11” Harry says.

“Okay, see you then” I say as I hang up the phone.

Mum should be out by 11 today, so it was safe for Harry to come over.  I run into the kitchen to meet mum for breakfast.

“How was your night?” Mum asks as she places the toast in front of me.

“It was….okay” I lie.

“That’s good, is Sophie still asle-… Morning Sophie!” Mum chirps as I turn around to see a sleepy Sophie walking towards us.
