“Mia time to get up!” Mum shouts through my door.
Urghh, I’m so tired. But I have to get up. I tried to move out of my bed but I realised that Harry was slouched over me.
“Harry get up, we have school.” I say pushing him around.
“My head hurts.” He groans.
“No shit, you were drunk. It’s called a hangover.” I laugh.
“Shut up your making it worse.” Harry chuckles.
I throw a pillow at him so he would get out of bed. But I actually think it made him take longer than he should of. He groaned as he got up. He sat on the end of the bed and watched me as I tried to change in my school dress without Harry seeing my body. It didn’t work very well.
“Harry turn around.” I blush.
“Nope, I want to see your body.” He smirks.
“Harry!” I growl.
“Fine.” He mumbles spinning around.
I take my time getting my school dress and socks on.
“If you don’t hurry up I’m going to turn around.” Harry laughs.
“I’m done” I roll my eyes.
I somehow managed to sneak Harry out like I did last time. I’m not too sure if mum saw Harrys car and realised he was here. Yet again she’s never seen his car before so she probably doesn’t know. Thank god.
Another boring day of school awaited me.

It’s been a week and half since the fight with Harry and him staying at my house drunk. I told Sophie about everything that happened. She’s been such a great friend to me lately and understands everything. We have worked out that some days we will sit together, and some days she can sit with Luke while I sit with Harry. We didn’t want to fully ditch each other so we thought this would be better. Sophie and Luke have started dating as well! Which is super exciting! We both have boyfriends now. Harry and I have completely forgotten about the Nikki situation and I have avoided all contact with her.
Today was Saturday and it was the night mum had planned the dinner to officially meet Harry. I’m kind of nervous, because mums first impression of him wasn’t very good. Mum decided that she wanted to have dinner at Williams’s house this time. Since harry had told him about us dating he basically insisted anyway.
We had at least an hour before we had to leave so I started to get ready. I decided to wear my nice black formal dress. It had a straight top line and small sleeves. The whole top of the dress was sparkly until it reached just above my waist, where black material fell down and ruffled just on top of my knees. I curled my brown hair into calm waves and put on a full face of makeup, which included foundation, powder, bronzer, eye liner, a tad of eye shadow and some mascara.
I took my phone and lip gloss off my bed side table and slid my flat shoes on making my way downstairs. Mum was sitting in the lounge room already ready. I joined her on the couch.
“You look beautiful.” I complimented mum.
“So do you.” She chirps, scanning my outfit.
“We should probably get going so we’re not late.”
“Good idea.” I smile while heading towards the door.
“Bye Zeus!” I yell shutting the door behind mum and me.
I slide into the car and mum whirls out of the street. I was so nervous. Will mum give Harry another chance? Will she be quick to judge him again? Will she change her mind about him? So many questions keep wondering through my mind. I’m freaking out a little. Knowing mum she’s going to completely embarrass me as well. Before I know it mum was pulling up in their driveway. I was practically shaking. Why was I so nervous? They have met before. I think this time was just a little different.
I jump out of the car and straighten my dress up.
“Ready?” Mum asks walking to my side of the car.
“I think” I smile trying to lighten the mood
. It didn’t work. I am still nervous as hell.
“Let’s go.” She smiles back, leading me up to the front door.
It looks as though mum had been here before, I would have thought she had though since they are dating. She knocked on the door twice and we waited for an answer. We were greeted by William at the front door.
“Good afternoon ladies.” He smiles opening the door.
“You both look lovely” He says kissing mum on the cheek.
I follow in behind mum avoiding a hug from William.
“Come through to the dining room. I will go get Harry.” He smiles leaving mum and I alone.
“They have a really nice house.” I whisper to mum.
She doesn’t know I have been here before, so I’m pretending I haven’t.
“It’s gorgeous isn’t it!” Mum whispers back.
We both wait patiently for William and Harry to come down to the dining room. We wait for at least 5 minutes before they come back down the stairs.
“Sorry we took so long.” William smiles taking his seat at the dining table.
Behind him was Harry. He was in a white t-shirt tonight and black skinny jeans. You could see his tattoos through his t-shirt. He was looking extremely hot, I couldn’t help but stare.
“Hey Mia.” He smirks as he sees me staring. Oops.
“Hey Harry.” I blush.
“You look beautiful” He whispers pulling me in for a quick hug before walking over to my mum. Here we go.
“Hello Ms Wellington” Harry smiles putting a hand in front of my mums body.
“Call me Marian, Harry.” She replies shaking his hand. This was so weird.
“Take a seat.” William says from across the table.
Mum sits next to William this time and I sit next to Harry. Harry looks over to me and gives me a quick smile before facing our parents. This is going to be a long night.
