Chapter ten: Soulmate

Edward stood in front of me. Still smiling. His fingers ran through my hair and then he hugged me tight. It felt like we found a precious memory. like putting to pieces of a broken medallion together. It felt like coming home. "Wow" I mumbled.

"What ist it Bella?" Edward whispered.

"I did not expect so many feelings from one hug!" I whispered back. He looked at me. Shook his head and started giggling.

"What is it Edward?" I asked in return. " I did not expect so many emotions from one hug!" He wispered looking down into my eyes. And then I saw the glint in my and in his eyes. This was not a reflection of my fire. His fire just started.

A knock at the wide open door broke through the tension between us. Emmett was standing there grinning all over his face. more from ear to ear kind of grin. "well well, seems someone will get some at least you found her. Or should I say Universe brought her." " Shut up Em. Give the lovebirds some room" Rose hissed from behind. " I am giving them all they need. It is their mistake. Or more Edwards. Who would leave the door open when some hotty like Bella asks to see his room" he grinned.

To my surprise Edward growled at him. While I started laughing. " Emmett! Isis and Osiris waited more than 2000 years to find each other what would be a day, a month or a year change in that" I said.

" I think we should go now. The Weather is not waiting for us". Ending this sentence I took Edwards hand and pulled him downsstairs.

Esme, Carlisle and Alice where standig ready in line smiling to us. "should we take the car or run?" Alice asked.

Edward looked at me and as I knew what he wanted I said "Let's go running. I need fresh Air".

Next second Edward was still holding my Hand and ran with me through the forrest. We reached the playing field so fast that we had the chance to be for some minutes alone. May the others were slowing down knowing we still needed some time?

"Edward, we have to hang out. I need to get to know you better before something happens. Are you OK with that? I just want to make sure that we are friends, soulmates before we become partners" I looked deeply into his Eyes.

"It is OK Bella. I have waited so long not knowing if I will have a partner in this life. I will wait for eternity if you need more time."

"Edward it has nothing to do with you it is me! See before I got to Forks I thought that I will be living this life all by myself. Get killed by some lonesomeness. And now that I found friends, a family and an old soul to spend my life with it is a lot to handle. But I am not running away or just leave. You are my destiny ,my future.." whilst i was saying these last words all the cullens appeared smiling at me.

Edward seemed embarresed by the thoughts some of the the family members had but did not say anything.

"Alias iacta est" Carlisle said which ment the decision has been made. " I want Bella in my team Edward so put your hands of her" Carlisle smiled. "Edward was disappointed. But took it well... the teams has been sorted out and the game begun.

It was a hard game and at the end I made the necessary points for team carlisle to win it.

"Whilst heading back to home. Did I just said home? Yes this was now my home! Our group was filled with laughter and happiness.

Esme grabbed my arm. slowed us down so we fall back at the end of the group. I saw Carlisle talking to Edward as it seemed to keep him busy not noticing what esme had planned to do.
