Edward and I looked like a bus just hit us a second ago.
"did you know something about it?" I asked him.
"I assure you that i did not know anything about it".
"We wanted to give you two something very special. Something you both would like and more important what you both are very interested in." Esme said smiling.
"Well than lets open it. Would you like to open it Edward? "
"you should open it."
I unwrapped the paper of the envelop. The envelop was white and of heavy quality. When I saw the headline and the travel itinerary I jumped over hugged my mom and esme at the same time and then turned to Edward who still had no idea about our very special gift.
"They just gave us a four week journey to egypt. Edward we could see all the monuments of our- i mean of Osiris and Isis."
"When?" Edward seemed totally shocked. I was wondering why he reacted so shocked.Should'nt he just be as happy as I am? Or was he just shocked due to the fact that his family just managed to keep something from him?
Alice must have noticed my irritation.
Smiling Alice just said "we should leave for the prom now".
"Mom. Esme and all of you guys thank you so much for giving us this fabulous present. I am sure that Edward and I will have the best journey of our life in two weeks than." I said smiling turning and responding to Edwards question.
Edward got his voice back even he was paler than usual. He looked the same way as the last time when he passed out. He cleared his throat and said in a very whispery voice "thank you all. you do not know what this means for us- for me".
"oh come on guys. we have to go now." Alice said smiling.
we nodded. Edward grabbed my hand, kissed me on my left cheek and we went to the limo which was hired for this night.
All of us took their seats. The driver started the engine and pulled of.
Everyone was looking at us. Jasper brook through the silence when he started laughing. "what? whats so funny? " Edward and I asked the same time and then looked at each other wondering about the obvious similar thoughts we had.
