When we got outside the Hotel we smelled the pollution of Cairos Air again. Edward opened the passengers door and smiled at me.

"Aren't you supposed to be happy and exited?" He asked smiling.

"Edward you know I like to shop old stuff but I am not amused by the fact that you hide something from me" I sighed whilst I climbed in the seat of the white Jeep.

When we got in Mr. Ahmad turned the keys. Starting the engine he turned his head to us and asked if we are ready to go.

"Yes Mr. Ahmad. Emshe min fadlak." He responded.

"What did you say?" I asked Edward.  "That he can start driving" He responded smiling.

We nearly stood every 2 minutes in the traffic of cairos busiest streets.

It seemed that the caireen drivers were showing us a special honk concert. I laughed "the egyptian have some short patience don't they".

Mr Ahmad chuckled "Yes Ms Swan. They are so unpatient. In case of emergency please never call for an emergency car. Take instead the next taxi. The Taxi will get you faster to the ER."

"Thank you for the information" I said nodding. I knew that we would never ever need this but we had to keep the facade.

We reached the plaza of the mosque from which we could entrance the old souq of cairo. Edward got out of the car held the door open and helped me out of the car. Suddenly we must have attract attention several men were starring at us. Women were undressing Edward with their looks.

I smiled at Edward and he bent to kiss my hand. I think he wanted to mark his territory for both sexes. Mr Ahmad got out of the car gave us his number for emergencys otherwise he would wait for us here at the plaza.

Edward pulled me into the small souqs entrance. It was crowded. Were all the caireen citizens in this market? Or even all egypt? I smelled spices, leather, food, different fabrics, gold, silver and not for my delight garbage!

"Does the smell disturb you too?" I asked him sniffing. "yes" He admitted.

He pulled me into the left side into the small alley. "This is the area for antiques. We may find something for my familys home" he whispered into my left ear. I smiled. His breath made me shiver slightly. We walked with the rythm of this alley. It was totally crowded. But Moving with the flow gave us the time to have an extended look at the windows. Suddenly I saw it. It stood there under a thick cover of dust. It caught my eyes. Edward saw my stare and followed it. He smiled when I turned to him. "Lets go in!" He commanded. As I have promised earlier this day I did not object.

"Memken naboss ala timsal da?" He asked in his strange arabic with egypt dialect. "Ustadh Hadritak Ikhtart haga gamila awi!" The salesman praised his offer.

"Al timthal bekam?" Edward asked. "Ustadh hadritak aref inna timthal kida mish rkhes! 2000 Dollar amriki!" The salesman responded.

"Edward. How much is it? I will pay by my own" I whispered in his ear non hearable for humans.
