Christopher turned the key to enter the apartment and smiled as he saw Arabella run to him. "Oh my Sweet Princess are you feeling better." He said with a big smile taking her in his arms and spinning her.

"Yes daddy and Rosemary made me some soup to feel all better."

He smiled and walked into his office and put his briefcase down rushing out excited to see what Rosemary was up to. Without realizing he walked past the picture of Arabelle and didn't pick it up like he had done since he had started dating her. He carried his little Arabella in his arms to the kitchen where Rosemary was singing and standing at the stove. She was so into her singing with the beautiful voice she had that she jumped when Arabella screamed her name.

"Rosemary!"

"Hay Dios mio Arabella me sacastes el Corazon!" she said clutching her chest.

"Perdoname Rosemary no quise." Arabella answered in perfect Spanish proud. She had learned the languages Rosemary knew but sometimes didn't remember some words. She knew Spanish, English, French, Portuguese and even Latin.

She smiled at her and popped her nose. "No te precupes mi amor." She turned to me and smiled "hungry sir? I made soup but I did also make a lasagna in case you didn't just want soup."

"Thank God I am Starving and I want more than just soup." Christopher smiled at her patted her on the shoulder as he walked further into the kitchen and sat on the counter. His hand felt electric from where he touched her.

She smiled as she placed the food on the counter and turned to serve him some soup. As she placed it the doorbell rang and she smiled. "Excuse me I shall get that."

Rosemary walked up to the door and opened it and before her stood and very handsome looking man who looked a lot like Christopher.

"Hello may I help you?"

He had a huge smile on his face. "I am sure you can..." he winked at her.

She raised her eyebrows at him.

"What I meant was hi, my name is Kevin and I am here to see my brother Christopher, nice to meet you." He smiled wide at her.

Kevin couldn't help but grin at the girl standing before him and hoping to God that she was not dating his brother she was a beautiful little thing, her eyes were blue like the sky on a perfect day and her smile were incredible.

She smiled at him. "I'm Rosemary please come this way he and Arabella just sat down to have some dinner."

He followed her and watched her walk down the hallway she had an incredible a...

"Mr. Christopher there is a man here who says he is your brother."

Christopher smiled and looked up at Kevin and his smile faltered for a second as he watched him staring at Rosemary.

Kevin turned to his brother and hugged him hard. "I missed you brother and how is the prettiest niece in the world?" he poked Arabella in her cheek.

"She doesn't know her uncle that is for sure. Arabella meet my brother your uncle Kevin."

She looked scared and turned to Rosemary and she smiled and winked at her so she turned to her uncle and smiled and gave him a hug. "Hi Uncle Kevin."

"Hello pretty girl..."

"Are you hungry Kevin?" Christopher smiled at him.

"Starving actually but I don't want to impose..."

"No of course not..." Rosemary smiled and served him some lasagna and garlic bread and then put some soup in a bowl for him.

Kevin tasted it and his eyes lit up "Oh my God this is delicious..." he smacked Christopher on the back. "you need to marry this girl bro!"

Rosemary and Christopher looked at each other shocked and then away, Christopher spoke up first. "it's not like that Rosemary has just worked here since Little Aries here was born."

"Oh well then if you don't mind I will marry her." He winked at Rosemary and smiled as he kept eating. Christopher looked at Rosemary as she blushed and turned away back to cleaning the stove but before she got to into the job Kevin smiled and looked at her. "Rosemary come eat with us..."

"No sir, thank you once I am done with all this cleaning I will eat in my room and catch up on some work I am doing."

"Wait first of all call me Kevin please and what kind of work?"

"I am working on my Doctorate of Nursing."

"Wow you really are the full package aren't you...Then how about I will wait for you and we can eat together and then you can do your homework?"

"No thank you Kevin maybe next time." She smiled and washed the bowls of soup that were empty.

Christopher couldn't help but realize that in the four almost five years she had been here he had not once asked her to sit and eat with them or even knew she was still studying.

Rosemary took his plate and smiled at him and Christopher couldn't help but avoid her eyes he actually felt really bad.

Kevin stood and helped her clear and wash the dishes even though she tried to refuse and then he took Arabella to play while I still just sat there on the counter staring off.

"Sir?"

I looked up at her. "sorry what was it Rosemary?"

"If there is nothing else I am going to go and put Arabella to bed and head to my room."

"Okay that's fine thank you Rosemary dinner was excellent today as it always is."

She smiled shyly and walked into the living room as I followed.

"Aries it's time for you to take a bath and head of to bed missy you have lots of work to do tomorrow since you didn't go to school today."

"Five more minutes please Rosemary..." she looked at her with puppy dog eyes.

"nope." Rosemary smiled at her "But how about I read you two stories instead of one for bed time?"

"Okay!" Aries jumped up and Rosemary caught her and headed for the stairs. "Excuse me gentlemen." She smiled and they walked up the stairs chatting away.

As soon as she was out of ear shot Kevin turned to Christopher. "Dude what the hell, why have you not..."

"Stop Kevin I do not want my Nanny."

"Real talk because if you don't... she is amazing dude I will definitely try my luck there."

"Go for it just remember that is your niece's nanny."

Rosemary stood at the top of the stairs and couldn't help but feel a little sad to hear Christopher say that. She had liked him for so long and just thought that he needed time but now she could see that he honestly didn't want anything to do with her. She took a deep breath and went down the stairs Aries had forgotten her favorite towel in the restroom downstairs so she needed to get it. As she passed by the living room Christopher tried to smile at her but she avoided it and walked into the restroom grabbed the towel took a deep breath and walked back upstairs.

Christopher couldn't help but wonder if maybe she heard them but then that would mean that he was right and she liked him and was hurt by the fact that he didn't want her. That would mean that she did like him and it was not just in his head.
