Chapter 5

                   

Christopher saw the moment Rosemary ran in thru the emergency door and ran to the counter but before she could ask she saw him and ran to him and threw herself into him.

"Please tell me Aries okay."

"Calm down Rosemary they are checking her she had a really high fever and I couldn't get her to wake up. I got scared and brought her here." She had tears streaming down his face.

"Where do they have her?" she was pacing around.

He took her shoulders in his hands. "Rosemary look at me..." she turned to him and he saw the tears running down her cheeks. "we..." 'I want her to be my mommy' Christopher saw Aries face telling her and he realized that she was Aries mom in a certain way because she had been here for her in every moment good or bad. "We need to stay calm she will be okay... she has to be... Arabelle won't take her away from me, from us, after everything."

He was holding her while she cried slowly as she cried into his chest Kevin walked in and looked a little surprised and Christopher could see he looked confused. Before anyone could say anything the doctor walked out and he and Rosemary walked up to him.

"She is awake and crying, she is asking for Rosemary." The doctor looked at Rosemary. "She is okay she had a high fever and we gave her antibiotics and are giving her some electrolytes so she can regain some energy she should be discharged as soon as that happens."

Rosemary smiled widely at Christopher and threw her arms around his neck. He pulled her in and hugged her he couldn't help but inhale her she smelled of home to him. Only Arabelle had ever smelled liked that to him and he was in almost shock about it and held on to her until he saw Kevin staring.

He pulled away and looked back at the doctor "So can we see her?"

"One at a time for now." The doctor smiled.

Rosemary stepped back and Christopher smiled at her. "You go... I will wait here and then go."

"thank you." She hugged him and walked behind the doctor to head towards Arabella.

"I asked you if you liked her Christopher."

Christopher's back was to Kevin "and I said no."

"But you clearly..."

"Stop."

"No I asked you and I really like her but I know she had a thing for you..."

"Stop Kevin I swore to Arabelle that Arabella was m.... I swore that..."

"Stop Christopher... she's gone and if you feel something for her then you should be allowed to..."

"Kevin stop."

"Then I am going to make her fall in love with me and you are not allowed to get mad when she falls for me..."

"Stop!" Christopher looked pissed. "My daughter is in a hospital this is not a conversation we are having now... what the hell is wrong with you."

"I... "

"should go." Christopher walked away from him to be closer to the door.

Kevin walked into Aries room and stared at the scene before him. Arabella was cuddle into Rosemary asleep and Rosemary was asleep and on the other side of Arabella was Christopher sleeping they truly looked like a family. He turned away Christopher was too much of a coward to make her happy because of the pain he went thru and he realized that he had to make Christopher wake up or neither one of them would be happy. He had a plan even if the plan made him look like an asshole his little brothers happiness was more important.
