Chapter 10

Christopher stood pacing in the entrance of his companies building. He was waiting for Rosemary to come in. It had taken some begging but she had agreed to come back for Aries sake.

She walked thru the door and his breath caught she was just as beautiful as he remembered maybe even more beautiful. His face fell a little when he took her belly in and realized that she was pregnant with Kevin's baby.

"Rosemary"

"Mr. Blake."

"Please follow me to the room where Aries is waiting for you."

He noticed that she smiled widely at the idea of seeing her and even though he could see a little hurt in her eyes he could tell she was excited.

"Thank you." She opened the door and Aries eyes lit up as she saw Rosemary and she ran to her and started crying.

"I missed you so much!!"

"Don't cry baby girl please."

He closed the door to give them privacy but he stood outside the door for a second the two people in this room were his life but he could not do anything about it. As the party wore on Christopher saw Rosemary and Arabella emerge looking so happy and couldn't help but feel pride. He was the bigger person today and made sure his daughters happiness came before his. Even though he wouldn't admit it he knew he was just as happy to see Rosemary as his daughter if not more. The only thing that kept bothering him was his brothers baby in her.

His mom spotted Rosemary and walked over to her looking very happy and gave her a huge kiss on the cheek. She looked at her belly and rubbed and they had a conversation. Christopher couldn't help but wonder if she was telling her mom she was having Kevin's baby. He saw her mom smiled hugely hug and jump up and then look serious as Rosemary said something. Her mom looked quickly at him and then away and got closer to Rosemary to talk to her more seriously. He could tell Aries was trying to listen but that she was to low and the music to loud to hear anything.

Kevin watched his brother staring at Rosemary and couldn't help but chuckle to himself. He was sure that Christopher thought the baby Rosemary was expecting was his. He walked up to his brother and patted his shoulder.
"brother how are you?"

Christopher wanted to ignore his brother but there was no point. "I am good brother just watching my daughter be happy"

"Watching your daughter be happy or my daughter be happy?"

Christopher looked at his brother with rage "You..." he turned away "I am happy for you... settle down and make a family."

Kevin laughed. "it is killing you isn't it brother? Knowing that Rosemary is having a baby... but it's your fault you could have been in her life forever but you wouldn't let go of your dead wife."

Christopher turned and punched Kevin without thinking about it and just kept punching. Soon enough they were pulled apart by their parents and Rosemary who turned quickly and hugged a crying Arabella.

"Don't come near me or my family stay away from my house!" Christopher screamed as his dad held him. "You are a worthless piece of work and you aren't worth anything that's why you have nothing you just live off of mom and dad!"

"Talking about worthless..." he cleaned blood off of his face. "you..."

"Enough!" their dad stood staring at his sons "I have never been more disappointed in my life." He turned to Christopher "This was your daughters party and now it is over." He turned to his wife, his granddaughter and Rosemary. "let's go ladies." He pointed towards the door where he led them out and into a hall where he called his driver and took them all to Christopher's house.
