Chapter 9

Christopher stood in his bedroom looking out the back wall which was made of glass and couldn't help but feel guilty for the past 2 weeks he had made sure to make sure Rosemary hated him. With each thing he did he could see her closing off from him and getting closer to his brother.

Christopher turned and walked down the stairs to where the living room was and he couldn't help but feel his heart falter a little when he took in the scene in front of him. Rosemary and Aries were asleep on the living floor surrounded by birthday planning books since Aries birthday was coming up they were throwing her a party. He stood there staring at them Rosemary was on the floor lying next to a book and Aries was asleep next to her cuddled into her. Aries stirred and moved closer to Rosemary who felt her stir and pulled her closer into her. He stood there for what felt like hours until Rosemary moved and looked up confused and when she saw Aries on the floor next to her she smiled and stood and picked her up. He hid in the hallway as she went up the stairs.

He went into the living room to help put up the books when he felt Rosemary walk up behind him. "Sorry sir we fell asleep but I am just going to clean this mess up and head up to bed." She rushed and picked something up from the floor under the couch and put in her pocket, He tried to look in her eyes but she wouldn't let him.

"Rosemary..."

"Please stop Mr. Blake I am so tired of your mood swings... it is fine I want to be in Aries life so you be my boss and I will be your employee and we will leave it at that." She picked up the magazines and stacked them.

"I am sorry..."

"Don't be you told me when I started here that nothing would ever happen I was just an idiot that forgot what you said."

"Rosemary..."

She smiled and walked to the stairs. "Have a nice night sir." She walked up the stairs and he heard her door close a few minutes later.

Rosemary slid down the door as she closed it and felt her panic intensify. She clutched the test in her hand that she had hid from him in her pocket. After everything she had learned and been thought she couldn't believe she let this happen. She dialed her phone and Kevin answered her on the second ring.

"Did you take it."

Christopher stood outside the door wondering who she was calling.

"Yes I took another test and I should mention the doctors told me already...I just... I'm pregnant Kevin."

At the same time two different breathes were caught. One was a man who was in love with a woman just didn't realize it finding out she was having his brothers baby. The other was a man hearing that the girl who was his best friend was having a baby and that this changed the situation on so many levels this was no longer just a game anymore.

Christopher walked away letting her talk to Kevin in privacy as he walked into his room he collapsed on the floor on his knees and clutched his chest. He felt so much pain in this second and he stood with rage in his eyes marched down to Rosemary's room thru the door open.

Rosemary's stood there looking terrified.

"Rosemary you are fired... I will give you 6 months' advancement but I want you and your stuff out of the house tonight. I will arrange a hotel until you can find an apartment." He watched Rosemary's face slowly go from fear to anguish.

"Please..."

"You have an hour."

Christopher sat on the couch since the moment Rosemary walked out crying he had not been able to move. Slowly the sun came up and as Arabella walked in covered in tears he felt his world crumble further and regretted every stupid decision he had made in the past few days.

"Daddy where is Rosemary her and all her stuff is missing." She was sobbing.

"She is gone doll; she doesn't work here anymore but I will find you a new nanny."

"No! I want her, I want Rosemary, I want my mommy she is my mommy I want her back!"

"She is your what?"

"My mommy... grandma said a mommy is someone who loves you and takes care of you and she is my mommy. Please daddy I will be good girl... I won't be bad; I just want my Rosemary back please daddy."

He felt his heart breaking even more at his little girl's words.

It had been 5 months since Rosemary left and Christopher had not talked to her since she left. Aries was not really laughing or playing anymore and he could tell that she was a little depressed and so he decided to be a man and let Rosemary come back and be her nanny it would be her birthday surprise. He had looked high and low and could not find her. Finally, he had to put his pride to the side and talk to Kevin and that is what he was about to do.

"I need to know where Rosemary is..."

"I don't know Christopher... she hasn't really talk to me since you kicked her out in the middle of the night."

"I know you know Kevin please Arabella really needs her back; she is so sad."

"You mean you need her back."

"No don't even say that. That is over and done with."

"Honestly I didn't think you were such an asshole but I can see I was wrong ill text you her new number and then I... bye Christopher."
