"Okay, guys, we're on in five, I hope you all reviewed the song list" Jet said to team RWBY.
"This song is great Ruby!" Weiss sang, and arm around the younger teen's shoulders. Ruby blushed hard.
"It's nothing special, I like Mirror Mirror better" she replied bashfully.
"I wouldn't compare the two. Mirror Mirror is way slower, This Will Be the Day is borderline metal" Yang said to the two with a smile on her face.
"Yang, did you make a Dragon Ball Z reference in I Burn?" Blake asked her girlfriend, poking the blonde gently while reading the lyrics.
"What? You just noticed?" Yang giggled.
"By the way, Blake, you did a great job on From Shadows" Weiss congratulated. The faunus when pail.
"What!? How did you-"
"I added it in" Jet said. "We practiced it in secret, knowing you wouldn't want to include it." Blake glared daggers at Jet. "Times up, guys. Let's Rock!" Jet sang, dashing out onto the stage. Ruby and Weiss followed and took there positions. Yang kissed Blake's cheek and gripped her hand to lead her onstage.
"Good evening Vale!" Jet called out over the massive crowd that had gathered.
"Thank you all for joining us tonight" Weiss beamed into her own microphone while Yang and Blake took there places.
"We're gonna start off with a fan favorite, tonight guys!" Yang almost shouted into her headset.
"Enough talking, let's play!" Ruby sang.
Jet smiled and nodded, as soon.as he began the opening riff he and Weiss began to harmonize.
Weiss and Jet: "there's a day when all hearts will be broken
when a shadow will cast out the light
and our eyes cry a million tears
help wont arrive"
Yang and Blake began to play fast and loud. Ruby was the last to join in.
Jet: "there's a day when all courage collapses
and our friends turn and leave us behind"
Weiss: "creatures of darkness will triumph
the sun won't rise"
Ruby and Blake joined in, harmonizing with Weiss.
"when we've lost all hope
and succumb to fear
as the skies rain blood
and the end draws near"
All three: "I may fall"
Weiss: "but not like this, it won't be by your hand"
"I may fall" Jet sung low while Weiss sung the rest.
Weiss: "not this place, not today"
Jet and Ruby: "I may fall"
Weiss: "bring it all, it's not enough to take me down"
Jet and Yang: "I may fall"
The next verse started immediately.
Jet and Weiss: " there's a place where we'll stand outnumbered
where the wolves and the soul-less will rise
in the time of our final moments
every dream dies"
Jet: "there's a place where our shields will lay shattered
and the fear's all that's left in our hearts"
Weiss: "strength and our courage have run out
we fall apart"
Ruby and Weiss: " when we lose our faith
and forsake our friends
when the moon is gone
and we reach our end"
