Jet looked up at the school that loomed over him. This place would either be home sweet home, or Jet's tomb. He took a deep breath, feeling the relief of his wounds having healed over time, then began walking across the courtyard. Jet saw the other students staring at him as he did, no doubt hearing rumors about him. Suddenly, four stood in his path.

Jaune

Pyrrah

Nora

Ren

"Get out of my way" Jet said indifferently.

"You don't get how bad you hurt them, do you?" Jaune snapped.

"I'm gonna break your legs" Nora said. She jumped impossibly high, an descended upon Jet like a meteor. Jet wasn't in the mood, and with only his right hand, stopped Magnhild, the ground beneath him forming a small crater. He threw her off, then counter attacked. "Forgive me, but I don't have the time for this" He whispered, then berated her with punches and kicks, finishing by slamming her into the ground.

"Nora!" Jaune and Ren yelled in unison. Jet unsheathed Amejisuto and deflected the shots he predicted Ren would fire. Jaune attacked with his sword, which Jet caught with his gauntlet, then hit him in the neck with a quick chop. Ren charged but Jet kicked him in the stomach, then hit him under the chin with an uppercut. He was blindsided and sent flying across the courtyard. He found his footing, and saw Jaune glowing, his arms swaying limply as he walked.

That isn't even a semblance. Jet thought, narrowing his eyes. His aura is exploding forth sloppily, it's amazing that he has this much. Jet sprang forward, hitting Jaune while avoiding his aura charged punches. Jet hoped to drain his massive amount of power, and succeeded after an intense exchange. He then turned to Pyrrah. "I don't want to fight you" he said.

"Nor do I, but I can't just walk away" she replied.

"I understand" said Jet, with a nod. She drew her weapon and shield, and Jet switched to Purpura. He slid his right foot forward, his toes pointing at Pyrrah beneath his boot. His left arm was behind his back, and his right arm hung down, his wrist pivoting and holding Purpura upward. He stood primarily on his is left foot, which was pointing ninety degrees away from Pyrrah. They sprang into action at the same time, Jet parrying Pyrrah's attacks with quick wrist flicks and swishing arm movements. Likewise, his attacks were either deflected by Pyrrah's weapon or glanced off of her shield.

"You handle yourself well" Pyrrah commented, Jet's rapier grinding against her shield

"Likewise" Jet replied "but there's nothing that complicated about 'swish, swish, stab'." Jet spun around and knelt as he slashed, a flashy and impractical move, hoping to throw her off. She defended and attempted to bash him with her shield. Jet rolled backwards and avoided the attack. "Y'know, you really are a worthy opponent" Jet said, switching between weapons. "Kinda makes me feel like I'm in a samurai movie." He held the katana with both hands, preparing for the next clash.

"You watch too much television" Pyrrah said with a smile. Jet noticed the crowd the two of them had drawn.

"It looks like we've drawn quite the crowd" Jet noted, the two of them beginning to circle each other.

"Indeed, we must be quite the spectacle" Pyrrah said, smirking. They both attacked at once, Jet ducking under Pyrrah's attack and slashing at her side. His sword glanced off her shield as she ran past. They both turned for a follow up attack and traded a few intense attacks, before retreating again. "I haven't even used my semblance yet" Pyrrah said.

"Neither have I" replied Jet, bringing the hilt of his sword close to his face and pointing the tip at her. "Nor do I intend to." He lunged and Pyrrah parried. He ducked to avoid her shield bash, then blocked her follow up.

"I guess this will just be a good old fashion battle of skill, then" Pyrrah said, attacking Jet with a combo of her spear-sword, her shield, and her ferocious kicks. Jet blocked and dodged and parried, managing to escape the onslaught unscathed. He spun around and through a sweeping back kick, which Pyrrah blocked with her arm. Jet whirled around the other way and unleashed his own barrage. Naturally, Pyrrah defended flawlessly. They each tried one last attack, their weapons colliding and the sound reverberating. Everyone was awestruck, watching in complete silence. Jet and Pyrrah glared into each other's eyes. There was no anger or hate, merely respect and determination. They each respected each other highly as people and fellow warriors, and they were each determined to win. This started out as a fight for her friends, but it had evolved now. She could see in his eyes and feel in his movements that everything had truly been a misunderstanding. Now, she only fought out of the desire to face an equal, and the mutual respect they had for each other. Neither of them could walk away, it would disrespect both themselves and the other. They both retreated slightly, taking a moment to collect themselves. They were both panting, near exhausted. Pyrrah's shield rolled from her arm to her back and her weapon transformed into a spear. She lunged, and Jet parried, then counterattacked. Pyrrah whirled around and met his katana with her spear. Jet threw a sweeping back kick, and Pyrrah dove backwards. Her next lunge-swipe combo staggered Jet, and she began to pummel him with her shield and sword. When Jet found his next opening, he hit Pyrrah across the face with his gauntlet. The purple haired teen followed up with a flurry of kicks, knocking the redhead back. He panted hard, he couldn't keep this up any longer.

"I submit, the victory is yours" he said. Pyrrah slowly sat up.

"I'm afraid you said it before I could" Pyrrah replied. "I can't continue either, we'll just have to call this a draw." Jet stood and swayed on his feet.

"Mind telling me where team RWBY is?" He asked.

"They went out looking for you again" Pyrrah answered. Suddenly Jet's scroll started ringing. Jet looked down and to see an old picture of Roman.

"Glad to see you're okay" he answers.

"Jet, we've got a Grim problem down here!" the orange haired man yelled from the other side.

"And I care; why?" Jet asked.

"Those girls are caught up in the middle of it, oh look, that cat-girl Faunus just showed up."

"Damn it!" Jet yelled, hanging up. He focused hus aura, trying to get there as fast as possible, but his semblance wouldn't activate. Despair gripped him as he took off towards the shuttles.

Guys, please hang in there.
