Elaina's POV

Have you ever woken up one day and felt "eh"? Because I do. I have a feeling my anxiety would be acting up today. That's never a good sign.

I'm going to suck it up and hope it doesn't get worse. I grabbed my phone off my night stand, checking the time it was 10:13am.

I haven't sleep in this late in forever, I didn't fall asleep until 2:30am last night. I stayed up on the phone with my boyfriend Jake, talking about what happened at the concert.

I checked my messages to find a missed call from Katie an hour ago. I decide not to call back, she'll understand.

I sit up, contemplating if I wanted to get out of bed anytime soon, until I heard the door bell ring. I got up, walked down stairs to open the front door.

I open it to see a tall fiery haired boy standing there, scanning my body. I forgot I was still in my pajamas and my hair looked like a rats nest.

"Jeez, you look like you've had a hell of a night." He teases me. "Shit, I look horrible i'm sorry." I apologies, I forgot he wanted to hang out today.

"Give me like 25 minutes and i'll be out." I say, he nods as I close the front door and run upstairs to look decent for the day.

After I take a power shower I put on a P!ATD sweater, and some skinny jeans. Brush my hair and put it in a high pony tail. I wash off the makeup I fell asleep with last night and redo it for the day.

After i'm ready, I run down and open the front door.

Josh jumps up from the porch steps with a smile on his face. "Ready?" he asks as we walk down the porch. "Yeah, so what did you want to do?"

"Are you hungry for breakfast?" he asks

"Yeah I could eat. I don't have much to spend though."

"Don't worry about spending anything, i've got it. Think of it as an apology from last night." He says

"Well, can't say no to free food." I say with a chuckle in my voice.

"We'll take my car." he says pointing to his car.

He runs towards the dark blue auto mobile to open the passenger side for me like a gentlemen and awaits my arrival into his car.

I step into the passenger seat and buckle up waiting for Josh to walk around the car to get in along with me.

He turns on the car and hands me the AUX cord. "DJ Ella in the house!" he says as I plug the cord into my phone.

"You're so weird." I noted while shuffling through the hundreds of songs i've got on my device.

Josh starts driving to where ever he had in mind for breakfast. Even though it would be. considered brunch at this point.

I chose an album I haven't listened to in a while. Americana by The Offspring.
I see a big smile plastered on Josh's face as I look over at him tapping his finger on the steering wheel to the beat of the song that was playing through the speakers.
