it seems that i've just lost my best friend today... i needed something to clear my head.. so i'm updating this. It won't be too happy though.

Elaina's POV

*one week later*

I was flipping through the box of vinyls in the used music store. I had my ear buds in, blaring through them was the beautiful Self Tilted album by Twenty One Pilots.

I look through the many choices of vinyls in the box; Green Day, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Blink-182, Sum 41, Sublime, Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy.

I can't afford more than one vinyl so I take my time to chose the one I wanted most. It came down to Panic! At The Disco or Sum 41.

As I contemplate my decision, I suddenly feel a hand grab my shoulder. I jump from the sudden gesture that happened and quickly turn to see who it is.

I take out my ear buds to hear Josh giggling at my frightened face. "Oh your face is priceless right now!" he says teasing me. I brush it off and giggle with him. "You're such a dork." I say pushing his arm.

I look back at my choices and I see Josh looking at them too in my peripheral vision.  He points to the Blink-182 album I had left in the box, ignoring the two albums I had in my hand.

"This one." he says as grabbing it and handing it to me. The Album was called "Blink-182" by Blink-182. "I really like the drums on this album, plus the songs are pretty sick. He says showing me the colorful cover of the album.

I can't say no to a musicians choice. I put down the two in my hand and grab the one Josh was holding. I made my way around the store for a final look around before heading to the cash register to pay for my item.

Behind the counter was a young teenager with a muscular figure. He has dark green hair and a bottom lip piercing. He took my Vinyl to scan it. "Great choice." he says handing it back. Josh walks up behind me "Thanks." Josh says standing next to me looking at the boy behind the glass counter.

"Holy shit, your josh-"

"Dun? Yeah I know." Josh says cutting the boy off and smirking at what he just said. "Could you sign my album?" The boy says pulling out a Vinyl of Vessel out from under a desk and setting it on the counter. "Sure thing man!" Josh says as the boy hands him a marker.

I payed for my Album, then Josh and I walked out of the music store together. "So what were you doing in there?" I asked him without hesitation. "It's the store I use to go to every other week when I was a kid to buy albums. I would ask random guys in there to recommend me music and they did." he explains.

"So you just decided to take a walk down memory lane?" I ask as we walk along the not so busy side walk with no actual destination. "You could put it that way." he says chuckling. "Well I better head home, it's almost dinner time and my mom hates it when i'm late for dinner." I explain looking at my phone that held the time, 5:46PM

"I'll text you later, i've got news." Josh says "Okay sounds cool." I say shining a grin to him.

Josh and I say our goodbyes as I walk to where I was parked. I got in my car and slammed the door shut as I set my vinyl on the passenger seat. Before I could turn the key in the ignition I hear a familiar sound from my back pocket. My phone was playing the ringtone for my boyfriend Jake.
