Here's an update, i'm trying my best not to have a mental break down so here's another update <3

Elaina's POV
~*~*~*~*~
I woke up sad to see that I was no longer in Josh's arms. He made me feel so safe and sound. He made me feel so much better when I was around him.

I look over to the alarm clock with red illuminating lights that read 10:18AM. I lay by myself in bed thinking about last night. Terrified at the memories going through my head. I cling onto the pillow that my head rested on

I slowly move into a fetal position on the bed, I bury my face into the soft pillow and sob quietly. It hurts to even think of Jake, and how horrible of a person he is. But deep down I still love him..

I suddenly heard footsteps come upstairs. My mind rushes to conclusions and thinks it's Jake coming back for something. I jump out of my bed looking around for a weapon to use in defense.

I grab my bedside lamp and ready to defend myself from the guy I fear the most but also love. I hear the door knob being fiddled with to be opened.

"Go the fuck away Jake! Get out of my house!" I scream standing in the corner of my bedroom. The door slowly opens and I close my eyes. I charge towards the door with the lamp in front of me.

"I said get the fuck out Jake!" As I swing the lamp in several directions hoping to hit my target. Suddenly I feel the lamp being grabbed out of my hands and I drop to the floor in defeat. Allowing what ever will happen next to happen.

I feel strong arms wrap around my body, I lift up my head a little to see the fiery haired boy who made me feel safe in his presence. "Oh, Josh..its you.." I say looking down at the ground.

"I'm sorry I frightened you Elle." he says picking me up and leading me to my bed. I sit at the end of the bed where Josh had plopped down next to me.

I look down at the carpet and tears slowly make their way down my face again. Josh wraps his strong arms around my shoulders and pulls me into an embrace. I lean my head on his shoulders while still looking down.

"Can I ask you a question?" Josh says suddenly breaking the silence. I slowly nod turning my head towards him. "Why did you think I was Jake?" he says looking down.

I hesitate to tell him what had happened, I look down and sigh heavily... "Jake came over last night." I start. "And he was drunk." I continue with a lump in my throat growing bigger.

Josh looks at me listening to every word coming out of my mouth. "and.. he r-" is all I can get out before covering my face hiding the tears upon tears rolling down my face.

"Jake r-raped me.." I finish. Josh is speechless, sadness comes across his face but his eyebrows furrowed in anger. He pulls my entire body into an bear hug.

"Elle I am so, so sorry you had to go through that. I promise I'm never going to let him come near you ever." he says his voice shaky. I continue to cry into his shoulder. We sit there hugging each other for a few minutes until Josh looks up at me and says "Let's get your mind off this, I made breakfast downstairs if you don't mind."he finishes.

"Are my parents not home yet?" I say wiping my tears away. Josh shook his head slowly. I look around for my phone, I find it on the other end of the bed, I grab it and see three voice mails from my mom.

Message 1;
"Hi Sweety its mommy, Cindy and her husband invited us on a little couples get away. We're leaving tomorrow so I'll be home early to pack."

Message 2;
"Hey Honey! Your father and I are on our way home to pack for the trip, see you soon."

Message 3;
"Elaina, your father and I just left, I don't know why you have a boy in your bed with you but our flight leaves today so we are on our way to the airport. See you in two weeks, Call me!"
