If You're Going Through Hell...

Judy POV

"Nick no! Don't you remember me?" I asked as the fox I knew slowly walked towards me on all fours, his pupils narrow like a needle and his teeth sharp as knives. He growled as he started to cirle me.

Everything around me was dark, I couldn't even understand where we were. "Nick stop it! This is not a joke!" I yelled and crawled backwards, eventually hitting a wall. Tears started to fall from my eyes and drop on my grey fur. I looked at Nick. His fur was red but there was something on it that made it even more so... he had blood on his face and it was dripping down from his teeth.

He was now closing in, I could hear his breath. His heartbeat was normal, he didn't even understand what he was doing. His tail going left and right almost as if he was taking pleasure in it. "Nick I beg you! Don't do this!" I shouted through my sobbing.

A purple stain on his neck, the end of him. A growl and teeth, the end of me.  None of us could return from what was happening. No return... Sadness, but for what? I wasn't crying from fear... "For you..." I whispered and closed my eyes.

I felt his anger as he shoved his teeth in my neck. Blood came out from the wound like a fountain..... "NICK!".

Nick POV

"I'm here Judy... I'm here" I said and hugged her. Her heart was pounding like crazy and her eyes were blurry as if she had seen a ghost. "It's just a nightmare" I continued. Her fur was wet from the sweat and her paws were shaking. "Nick I saw..." She said with a trembling voice. "Don't say anything... Everything is fine" I said and hugged her tighter.

"It looked so real... It felt real" She whispered, it was scary to see someone so terrified. "It wasn't. Look at me!... I am real" I said and raised her head with my paw, starring in her eyes. "I though I lost you" She cried and placed her head in my chest. "I will never leave you Judy.... Never" I said as lovingly as I could. I meant what I had just said but I wanted her to know.

"I'll bring you some water" I said and tried to stand up but she grabbed my pae and stopped me. "No... I don't want to be alone" She said and clang on to me with both her paws. "I'll sleep with you for a while... We have sine time untill we reach the shore" I said and laid by her side on the bed. She didn't say anything but she purred and hugged me as she went back to sleep.

I didn't know what she had dreamt if but it had scared thebcrap out of her and as her boyfriend it was my duty to be at her side now that she needed me the most. I leaned down and put my head above hers and closed my eyes. I wasn't going anywhere... she had clang on to my tail like there was no tomorrow.

The light fell on me from the open window, making me wake up. I opened my eyes and turned around to see Judy lying on my tail.... She was too cute. "Rise and shine carrots" I said and poked her with my finger. "One more minute..." She mumbled. "Get up!" I said and took my tail from underneath her, making her fall of the bed. "Why did you do that?" She asked annoyed and got up. "You didn't wake up..." I said with a smirk. Any sign of fear from the nightmare had disappeared.

"Dumb fox" She said and punched me on the arm. "So how ya feelin?" I asked. "Better... Thanks to you" She said softly and smiled. Even though I had every intention having fun, we needed to leave the ship now. "Get ready and meet me on deck" I said and exites the room.

The sun hadn't fully come up yet and it gave an orange glow to the sea's surface. "Mornin matey!" Weston said and waved at me from the ship's steering wheel. "Would ya cut the pirate shit?" I said, making him shut up. The guy was annoying yet funny. "Sorry... so what was that shouting last night?" He asked when I went next to him. "Judy had a nightmare..." I explained and he nodded.
