Judy POV

Everything in this part of the city were different. The buildings, the streets, even the obvious signs of Savages running around had a different and weird vibe. Instead of just abandoned houses, there were remnants of an open war lying around everywhere. There were bomb shells inside of some cars and parts of the streets were cut off by collapsed buildings."Keep going" Nick warned and sped up his walking. We had better do so! At first I couldn't see the savages Nick could but after a couple of minutes their presence had become more obvious.

I could hear movement from somewhere behind us and sometimes inside of some buildings we passed in front of. I had no idea how but these savages were different than those we had encountered before. They were better at hunting...

"We gotta find a leg for Nick, he can't walk like this" I pointed out the obvious. Of course everybody knew that but they weren't doing anything about it. "GUYS!" I said abruptly and stomped my foot on the ground, if they weren't listening to me then I would make them. "Okay! Geez..." Nick mumbled in annoyance.

Roe didn't say anything, instead he dropped down his gun and walked up to the root of a tree, smashed it to smithereens. "Wrap it up" he said coldly and threw the small log along with ducktape to Nick. He was being serious... he wanted him to wrap a log with ducktape around his leg... moron.

"Fuck it! I'm doing it!" Nick said and picked them up, he was really doing this. Sometimes I really thought he was being too stupid. I sat besides him and held the log close to his leg so that he can stick it on it. "Why are you wearing Roebuck's eyepatch?" I asked. Nick gave a worried look to the sheep before answering me. "Uh... I like it?" He said awkwardly.

"You are really expecting me to believe that?" I said and put my paws on my hips, he was acting stupid on purpose. "No..." He admitted and started wrapping his lower leg with ducktape. "Then why? Does it have to do with that nightmare earlier?" I asked him softly. I trusted him but there was something he wasn't telling me. "I hit my eye while I was shaking... it hurts so Roe gave me his eyepatch" He explained with a shy. "You big baby! Don't fuss over something like that!" I said sportively and hugged him.

"I didn't want you to worry about me again... sorry for freaking you out by the way" He apologized and kissed me on the forehead. "Lets go" I then told him and helped him stand on his new but completely bad wooden leg. Roe rolled his eyes when he saw us but he didn't say anything. I had yet to understand his way of thinking. He was smart but showed barely any emotions... silent and suspicious most of the times. I still hadn't forgiven him for what he had done to Nick.

"We are three blocks away from the Grass station,  any ideas on the approach?" Roebuck asked slightly irritated by the fact that me and Nick were now holding paws. "I'd say we climb to the top of one of those buildings, check the perimeter before going in the station" Nick suggested and held my paw more tightly.

"Okay then, How about this one? It's tall enough" I said and pointed towards an apartment on the sixth floor of a building right in front of the train station. "Think there might be a nest?" Nick asked worryingly. "Might be... There's only one way to find out" Roe said and headed towards that building.  It was a red colored compound of apartments, built with bricks and with barely any coat of paint on it. Didn't seem as a good building... I guessed it was already dilapidated before the outbreak.

The front entrance was blocked by a lamp post that had fallen in front of it, that plus the fact that the whole first floor was ptactically destroyed. "We can always climb..." Nick suggested awkwardly. Roe facepalmed "I'll ignore that" He said and went to the side of the building, inside an alley. "The emergency exit. Nice thinking Roe" Nick complimented him.

"I'll help you up the stairs, Judy take point" Roebuck said and went bellow Nick to help him stand. "Oh fluffy..." Nick muttered in amazement and played with Roebuck's wool. "Cut it or I'll cut your other leg" He warned the fox.
