Since I started working at Med bay for the enterprise, I like to sing songs from really old musicals. My favorite musical is 'Rent' and I've been singing 'Seasons of Love' since it's my favorite song from the whole musical. No one was complaining since I'm the best nurse, says the head doctor Bones who I'm in love with. But he wouldn't notice a (Your home state) girl like me.
One day, Bones and I were working on a couple of papers when he said "Hey Y/N, can I ask you something?" I looked up and said "Yes?" He was getting red and said "Well, there's this girl that I'm in love and I want to ask her out but I don't know know. What should I do?" I sighed and I gotta admit, I was disappointed since he didn't love me back but I know that he doesn't feel the same. Deep down, I know that he loves me and I just ignore it. So I said "Just be confident, Bones. Why don't you practice on me? Then you go to her and tell her how you feel."
All Bones did for the first 2 minutes was look at me in the eyes and sighed. He then said "Hey Y/N, I need to tell you something. I'm crazy about you and I want you to know. You make me smile, you make fun of Kirk with me, you're smart, funny, caring, and beautiful. You probably don't feel the same but will you be my girlfriend?" I smiled and said "See?!? Now go tell her!" Bones smiled and said "I just did."
I looked at him surprised and he leaned forward and kissed me. I immediately kissed back and I smiled into the kiss. After we let go, I said "Yes, I'll be your girlfriend." We both smiled and went back to work. I then started singing 'Seasons of Love' again. Both of us couldn't stop smiling after we kissed and let's just say that we ended work early and went to Bones' room.
